Obviously Most Of The Results Are Completely Broken But It Doesnt Matter- Tommy Says It Himself, He Considers
obviously most of the results are completely broken but it doesnt matter- tommy says it himself, he considers himself a comedian before anything else, always looking for the next bit, wondering whether the joke is good is it funny- and this video just proves that over and over. he really is a genius despite what he might say in this.

My streamer is not like other speedrunners <3
[Punz: This is like, where a normal speedrunner would reset, but. I’m not like the other speedrunners. I’m bad.]
i honestly cried listening to some of these tracks so here is my ranking:
1. Moog city
2. Subwoofer lullaby
3. Minecraft
4. Mice on Venus
5. Excuse
i’ve had about 34 hours of work to complete in around 3 so obviously i put C418 on shuffle and… oh my god i’ve reached a higher plane of existence.
this music,,, is such a special part of my childhood and current fixations combined.
the hours spent begging my brother to let me use his account to build a treehouse in the shape of an oak wood box at the ripe old age of 6, the first time i went to a new friend’s house in secondary school and she had it on playstation so we spend the day discovering the aquatic update when neither of us had played in years, the first time i ever went to the end and switched to creative to kill the dragon; all to the tune of sweden, or moog city’s melodic shifts.
and now, years and years later, i barely play myself anymore, but instead have whole other worlds opened up to me through the eyes of other players; building incredible landscapes, wild and wacky machines, the new idea of pvp beyond chasing a friend with a sword crafted to fight the creepers, the way some players move so smoothly compared to the rest. this is the age of tournaments and live streams, role playing and mods, competition and goals added to what was once wholly a sandbox game. (this is not regret, this is adoration)
it’s not often i hear the original game music anymore. instead i listen to laughter and wonderful dialogue. i see blocks transformed into poetry by the animators and writers and artists who hold this community together. i get to experience these youtubers and twitch streamers make more out of a game we’ve all played than i could ever imagine.
but sometimes, if you go and listen to C418, and just sit and work and listen, all those things can coexist. i can remember the builds and herobrine summoning circles and shrines to pets on old old worlds, but now i know how much bigger they can be. all i have to do is boot up the game and click:
create new world.

He's not having a good time

Just FYI Pete watched the techno mc storymode streams and i just think that’s beautiful
I'm very late to the c!wilbur conversation but I think I like to look at 'phil said c!wilbur entertained himself as a kid by building things and then wrecking them' as 'c!wilbur already had perfectionist tendencies and was too hard on himself as a kid so he always ended up tearing down his creations and trying again in the hope that he'd get it right this time, and c!phil, who tried as a father but was really a bit distant, never realized that this might be a sign that his son was struggling and instead just assumed he enjoyed the destruction itself'
