"Do not give me that look."

Red peeks over the kitchen island. "But Boreasssss-"

Boreas shakes his head. "Absolutely not. I sincerely apologize, but i cannot allow you to continue with this."

Red shoots him his best puppy-dog eyes. Boreas tightens the Look of Disappointment™️ on his face, though his fingers tremble ever so slightly. "I said no, Lantern, and that is final. It is for your own health."

Red climbs onto the kitchen island and slides over it so he's standing in front of Boreas. "Pleeeeaaaassse? I need it for cryptid hunting."

"You cannot go cryptid hunting tonight, it is a school night," Boreas counters, though there's a faint hitch to his voice. "I'm sorry, Red, but for the sake of your health and grades-"

His boyfriend leans into him, peering up with wide amber eyes and a faint pout. "But tonight's a great night for hunting Mothman... the moon is full and everything..."

The slight tremble to Boreas' fingers increases as he turns his head to the side, avoiding looking at Red. "I'm sorry. Please do not give me that look, this is for your own good."

"Okay..."

Red's quiet voice makes Boreas pause, and the tall nindroid makes the mistake of looking back down at his boyfriend.

His power source melts.

"Perhaps..." he starts, voice cracking. "Perhaps I can brew you an alternative mix. The "Potion of Could Kill the FSM", as you call that dreadful mix of caffeine, sugar, and 5-hour energy, is very bad for your health and I cannot in good mind allow you to drink it, especially at such an unreasonable hour. But perhaps... perhaps I can instead brew you some nice hot chocolate, and we could curl up with a movie together?"

Red looks at him as if he just offered him a plate of gold. "Cuddling? You and me?"

His face slowly goes red with a blush, and a few embers flicker in his gelled hair.

Aha. Boreas has him hooked now.

"Yes," he says. "Perhaps we can share a blanket? You could rest in my lap as well."

Red starts to bounce in joy. "Screw Mothman, I'm finding us the coziest blanket in the house-"

Boreas smiles. "That would be lovely, Lantern."

Red beams back. "Anything for you, Snowball!"

The coffee is poured down the drain as Red races out of the room, and Boreas chuckles to himself.

He really is in love with this bi disaster, isn't he.

I’m not sure- Koko finds out after she wakes up (after her sons, daughter, and their friends take over the city), she’s very surprised and worried but mostly glad they’re all alright, but I don’t know about Wu. He either knows and is off meditating somewhere on it and debating the best way to talk to his students (because on one hand he doesn’t support them being evil, but on the other... he does care dearly about his students and the city has not been the nicest to them at all), or he just straight-up is still on vacation and is obvious to it all, fluting away somewhere

The SRJ Club [Beginnings of the Cabinet Man AU]

The club is absolutely roaring with noise, from music to hooting and yelling to the pounding of bodies in a wild dance. Lloyd covers his pointed ears and tucks in their tail, the tip already bruised from one laughing player swinging right over it. 

What should reek of sweat, perfume, and fizzy pop drinks instead somehow smells of fresh rainfall and snappy mint. Bright lights strobe to the rhyme of the bouncing instruments, reflecting off clouds of grey and blue fog from the smoke machines positioned around the stage. Blue sparks crackle around the air without hurting players, one of the many quality-of-life perks of the game.

There’s the full squad drawing, it took me ages but I’m actually pretty proud of it :D

Mint / Green / Lloyd is very pissed that his mom got hurt in a Garmalarm and nobody helped her so he finally snapped, went through accidental dragon puberty, and took out his dad and lost his arm in the process because prosthetic arm movie!lloyd is a jam of a hc

Cyanide / Cyan / Nya is using Koko’s Lady Irondragon armour and is part of the muscle keeping them in power (they took over the volcano as their own base and then took control of Ninjago City with ease)

Sanguine / Red / Kai lost his eye fully after getting attacked by three teens (the movie!versions of Archer, Bansha, and Ghoultar) when he was younger, he’s the team’s seer instead of Zane and has super strong vision powers (he can see all possible timeline options and help push his team on the best path)

Ivory / White / Zane lost part of his synthetic skin and has gone full “if people want to see AI as evil then so be it” (though he still has some robot insecurities), going full Snake Jaguar

Stygian / Black / Cole is still the anchor of the team though he talks even less than before in public, going more for the “dangerous strong silent bodyguard” look (still as snarky as ever when he’s alone with this team, much more chill)

Midnight / Blue / Jay went down hard during a crash after slamming the Green Dragon Mech out of the way of a canon-laser shot (hence the Ming-Hua from Korro inspired design harnessing lightning), usually sticks with one of his teammates when in public, automatically causes electrical interference for anyone and anything not on his team

And yeah basically it’s just six traumatized teens that finally snapped and went evil (though they’re pretty good rulers of the city and are seeing if they can extend their rule across the world)

Green comes back to consciousness with blurry vision and a throbbing headache.

Which is… gosh, not the first time this has happened. He probably should get therapy, except every therapist runs screaming from him and the ones that don’t either try to get him locked up in a mental institution or blame him for getting their office destroyed in the latest Garmalarm.

Voices echo around him, grating like TV static on his aching head. He squints his eyes, trying to make sense of his surroundings.

His hood is still on. That’s good. There’s blood on it. That’s bad.

How are you supposed to check for concussions again? Counting, right? One, two, three, five, six—

Uh oh.

The voices slowly become clearer, and Green strains to hear them. It’s weird— they sound far away yet right next to him, far below him but echoing up to him somehow.

Oh. He’s dangling in the air by some kind of chain. Okay. This is a thing that’s happening.

“General #17, you better have that report on Shogun’s whereabouts in 5 minutes or you’re fired!”

…oh no. He only knows one person who would say something like that.

That means he’s at—

/ A missile colliding with his mech, the capture device closing around him as an evil laugh pierces the last of his fading vision. /

“Well, how else was I supposed to lure Shogun here? Kidnapping the Green Ninja was the only way I was going to get him here.”

Great, and now he’s bait too? Thanks, dad. Appreciate it.

His vision starts going black again and he panics, trying to get a good look at his surroundings before he passes out again.

But it’s not use— the dark spots in his eyes grow larger and larger before ultimately knocking him out again.

The last things he sees is a pool of lava below him and his father looking up at him with a wicked evil grin.

No, you know what- I’m going to go back and count how many times (in the official minifigures, at least) Zane has at least one tit out

Have a bonus Echo continuing the nindroid trend before we start-

The Zanes will be under the cut because there are many, plus minor Crystalized (only the gi) spoiler. For those that wish to avoid that- the answer is (within the official minifigures, not counting additional designs in the magazines, comics, show, and other sources that don’t have figures), Zane has had at least one tit showing a total of 9 times (if you include NRG and Airjitzu has half a point each and don’t count Fusion - if you count none, then 8 times, if you count all as a point each, then 11 times)

0.5 = Gonna count this one as a half because none of them appear to have a gi at all, but you could argue it’s over their cloths

1.5 = One of the first times ever (probably first in canon), we stan a King

2.5 = Back from the dead and he already has one tit out

3 = Same as with NRG, going to count this as half a point because you can argue it’s over the clothes but also argue that’s his skin

4 = Zane was actually locked up in Skybound for titty crimes

Not counting this one but it deserves an honourable mention
