i've started reading tvl and no amount of posts telling me there's a "huge tonal shift" could have prepared me for this HUGE TONAL SHIFT this is the funniest fucking thing i've ever read it genuinely goes like:

lestat, narrator of tvl: hey guys, my name is lestat, you may know me because i'm really hot and sexy. english isn't my first language so sorry if i make any mistakes!! okay here's my story: after rotting beneath the earth for decades, my hot and sexy body has finally risen from the ground. i used to be depressed, but now i'm slutting it up again in the 20th century! first thing i did was get some (hot and sexy) new clothes and then wore them while riding my (hot and sexy) motorcycle and listening to bach on my sony walkman. while i was watching this super niche indie film (you've probably not heard of it) "apocalypse now" i realized that i'm so evil that i shouldn't exist. but then i realized what could make me deserve to live on this planet: rock n roll music.

And you cannot tell me that Dean so didn’t put shaving cream or something in the toothpaste for Sam to look at it that weirdly! C’mon! Headcanon!

But dude, seriously, I don’t think they emphasized how observant Sam and Dean really are. Yeah sure we nonetheless write them so in fanfics, but like, the way Sam was looking at everyone weirdly in the second day itself, down to the tiniest details when he thought everything happened in his dream. I mean, yeah, if it were an actual dream then it would really stick with us, but something that happened to him which he would associate to being the previous day? Man, I can’t even remember what I wore yesterday!

On another point, you guys realize, we’ve talked about how Dean has died so many more times more compared to others on this show - or hell, any show really - but what I’ve yet to see someone talk about, is that yeah, Dean died more than a hundred times, but each time, Sam had to go through that, and see his brother die that many times in front of his eyes. Why are we not talking about that?! Poor moose was so traumatized - honestly, by that third day itself, when the piano fell on him. Holy - if he hadn’t woken up again, I was pretty sure he was gonna go into shock. Poor Sammy, he looked. So. Broken. And traumatized!!!!!!

But then its kinda cute, but also right in the damn feels, watching Dean see how very broken up and upset Sam is over this, and even though he still doesn’t necessarily believe Sam about this ‘time loop’/’groundhog day’ thing, you can see how Dean immediately tries to comfort his brother, concern overtaking his own disbelief at that point. Aw for big brother Dean, c’mon people!

BUT DUDES!!! DUDE!!! “Hey, Doris? What I’d like is for you to log in some more hours at the archery range. You’re a terrible shot.”

DEAN SOMEHOW DIED BECAUSE OF DORIS AND THERE WAS ARCHERY INVOLVED!!!!!!! SUBTEXT PEOPLE!!

Granted my sister pointed it out as being subtext, but I figured it out before her and goddamn that was a fun moment. We’ve already seen this episode before and we just caught that and goddamn… *shakes head* still grinning though. Poor Sammy… XD

And.. there was also a bunny involved? The judge who wore the fuzzy outfit - Sam says that he saw every possible way for Dean to die that day and honestly - HoW wAS tHe FuZZy oUtFIt iNvolVEd?!! I wanna know!!!!

And then it just goes down the drain in a puddle of sadness, the episode.. but goddamn if Jared’s acting wasn’t fricking epic in this episode, I dare you to say other wise.

“What hyperfixation” I say as if I haven’t had carry on my wayward son on repeat for the past hour
