maybe regulus gets his half of the inheritance from alphard after he passes and use it to buy his own little coffee shop. he makes everything himself and hates asking for help but his friends always offer to work with him on weekends when its busy, and he just gets to pour his coffees and bake his pastries after having such a shitty life with his parents. and then one day this guy comes in and orders the sweetest drink on the planet and even though regulus is concerned he loves his smile and his glasses and his fluffy hair and he starts getting excited when this guy comes in every day before work to get his sugar fix. and maybe, just maybe, this guy asks for regulus' name and he gives it to him and he finds out his regular is called james and he works across the street and that if regulus ever wants to try one of his cakes, because his mum is a baker, he should come over. and maybe regulus does. and maybe he thinks its the best cupcake he's ever had. and maybe he starts to wonder why on earth james was coming to his cafe when his bakery had a coffee machine. and maybe they start falling in love.
