This and the previous game bend over backwards to mischaracterize the Norse gods and make them look bad for the sake of Kratos. Thor and his big gut, Baldur and his... everything, now Odin and his very specific and emasculating receding hairline, lol, to make him look uglier. This is contrasted to Kratos' own traditionally bald head, but one that's completely clean shaven and symmetrical, even "manly." Odin looks like he belongs in the background of Office Space or something.
