What if he was this suave smooth guy during their first meeting and then they get to know each other and Gellert is kind of a dork, constantly spitting weird facts about weird and obscure stuff no one has ever heard about and Albus is all for it, like cmon, SPIT THOSE FACTS! And then Gellert discovers Al has a crush on him and tries to use that against him because he’s still a manipulative bastard in canon (kinda). So he tries to flirt with Al and holy shit it actually works! OR DOES IT?! Every time he tries to flirt with Al or bend him to his will he goes through a very long process of stuttering, tryna look and sound cool to impress Albus and yeah, it works… to an extent. So when one of them musters up the courage to finally ask the other out, they start to date! Duh. And over the weeks, Albus gets a lot more confident talking to Gellert and then Gellert, being NOT prepared for his bf to talk dirty to him in front of the whole damn street, gets reduced to a full on stuttering, blushing mess tryna keep his shit together when I’m reality, cmon, you know he doesn’t have any of his shit together, stop lying, G. Shut the fuck up.

i feel bad for this lil gremlin god child thing. I mean, from what we’ve seen of him, he has some uh… malicious ish tendencies such as yeeting Belos actoss the fucking room and turning him to goop in the process and trapping the Owl Beast, but his dialogue, tone and mannerisms suggests that he’s just a kid who wants to play and doesn't know his own power.

Interesting that the murder-glow in his eyes dies down when he sees King, and he’s genuinely happy to see him. He’s dangerous, he has no sense of consequences, he’s powerful, but he’s also trusting, to a degree.

Remember that scene back in EC when Hunter asks Belos if rain in the human realm doesn't boil and we see how curious Hunter is about the human realm and is hanging onto Belos's every word with nothing but complete and utter trust? How much do you want to bet that Hunter believes that that was just another one of his lies, because after all the lies and manipulation why would he believe anything good, no matter how small about the human realm? How much do you want to bet that Hunter was terrified to see another one of his uncle's lies come true before his eyes?
