As you can see I have no idea who should go as Tony. My first thought was James, then it changed to Sirius, but if Loki will be Regulus (which I'm 100% sure ab) then Sirius has to be Thor bc brothers dynamic. So do you have any suggestions?

And I made an intro post like a month ago where I was asking people to be my moots. If you're interested, go check it out. (I'm begging you, I need more friends in my fandoms).

Yk what I'm thinking about? Mary McDonald. And I am going to make it everyone's problem.

She was born in Brazil and she lived there until she was 7. Her mom is Latino and her dad is black. She speaks fluent Portuguese. Her family, especially her father's side, are VERY religious. She has an older sister, younger brother and sister (who are twins). In England she lives in London with her family. They were quite poor. They lived in a small apartment. They lived close to their grandparents from the father's side. They were old very religious and conservative. And I hc that Mary is a trans woman. She didn't realise until her second year at Hogwarts. McGonagall was the one who made it possible for her to transition. However when she was coming back for summer she would have to make herself look like a boy, so her family won't know. They were the kind of people that would most likely beat her up for it. Her dad was obsessed with toxic masculinity. He would make Mary do typically "masculine" stuff when she was younger. She was trying to suppress her femininity most of the time she was home, but it didn't work. Most of her summer she was miserable. She couldn't get her transition potions and would be constantly deadnamed and misgendered. She only came out to her family at the end of 7th year when she knew she wouldn't come back. She wrote her family a letter. She was hesitant to send it, but Marlene and Lily changed her mind.

She was very feminine. Her favourite colour was pink. She absolutely LOVED cherries. Her favourite band was ABBA. She loved heels, makeup, dresses and all the stereotypically girly stuff. Her best friends were Lily, Marlene and Sirius. She would also hang out with other marauders a lot. She was in the dorm with the marauders for the entire first year.

She was very extroverted. She loved parties and dancing. She was a people person. She was very popular. Most people found her at least pretty (though not everyone wanted to admit that they were attracted to a trans girl, cause yk, it was the 70s).

Regardless of all that she also got bullied a lot. She was a muggleborn, dark-skinned trans girl. That was the "perfect" target for Mulciber, Avery etc. They would pick on her, call her slurs and stuff like that. They also would call her sexist stuff for having a lot of relationships with guys (sl*t, wh*re, etc.). Marlene would regularly curse them for it. She was assaulted by Mulciber at the end of their 5th year (it needs to be talked about more btw). Mulciber was "expelled" from school after that, but his family was very influential and he got back.

She was bisexual. Her first crush on a girl was Marlene, but she was too scared to admit it. She also had a crush on Lily in like 4th/5th year, but she didn't confess to her.

In the 5th year she met Emmeline. Em was tutoring her for the OWLs (she was a year above). They both developed a huge crush on each other. They started dating in Mary's 6th year. They were actually adorable.

She didn't want to take part in the war. She definitely could fight, but she didn't want to. She was scared of losing all of her friends.

After the war her and Emmeline wanted to get custody of Harry, but Dumbledore was a stupid d*ck.

Between wars she was trying to reach out to Remus. He was living with Emmary for a few months after Halloween in 1981. They got a lot closer.

She also became friends with Amelia Bones and Emma Vanity (Em's besties)

She didn't want Emmeline to fight in the second war. They argued about it a lot. When they last saw each other Emmeline promised to be careful and that Mary had nothing to worry about. But she didn't come home. In the morning Mary found out that she got killed. She considered obliviating herself, but she stayed for Emma.

After the war they would lift each other up. They were good friends and each other's reason to still stick around.

If she lived today she would like 2000s music, doja cat and artists like that. Her favourite Taylor swift album would be 1989.

Can someone please explain what "the prank" was in harry Potter? What's this Mysterious prank everyone talks about that happened in the marauders' 5th year?

I'm so confused.

No because none of you understand Mary McDonald the way I do. She’s neither a morning or night person because she wakes with the sun to watch it rise and go for a swim, but she’s also never one to turn down a night on the town. She’s an abba loving disco queen. She is summer and good vibes personified. She’s kind to everyone until you give her a reason not to be, and she’s not one to easily forgive. She’s fiercely loyal to those she cares for and would go head first into battle if they asked her. Please give her more representation!!

Listening to the lucky one by Taylor swift and thinking about a possible Harry Potter and Mary McDonald fic where Harry knows Mary ran away from the wizarding world and oblivated her memory, and how when he was younger he never understood how someone could do that, but as he grows older he starts to understand her more and more. He starts to envy her even, wishing he could do the same and just run away but knowing he can’t because the entire wizarding world relies on him to save them. Possibly he runs into her and starts up a conversation, looking for advice without giving too much away, leaving Mary confused not understanding how someone can look so familiar when she’s never met them before.

Posting two days in a row just because it’s my birthday today

the marauders fandom focuses a lot on how harry missed out on the marauders being in his life as he was growing up, uncle pads and moony etc. but the girls would have also been FANTASTIC aunts and it upsets me.

lily would have been such a loving and fierce mother, we see that with how she died for harry but i wish she had gotten the chance to show it in other ways as well.

marlene would have absolutely taught harry his first swear words, waking up the house with the loudest laugh after he “just went down for his nap, marls”. the first person to get ready to fight whichever 8 year olds were picking on him in class. she chases him around the yard with his broom when james is too tired.

mary, who would be the best listener in the house. always ready with a cup of hot cocoa, or tea when he was old enough, to hash out all the drama. she would also be super crafty and might inspire harry to experiment with his creative side.

pandora who’s just… pandora. his strange aunt that gets laughed at, sometimes, the first person harry will go to bat for, defending her from the 8 year olds making fun of her! always bringing him little trinkets, he keeps them all in a box, and then the box overflows. “really panda, he has enough acorns” “no no, this one’s special”

and dorcas, who fosters his competitive spirit, coaching him alongside james and marlene for quidditch, helping him build good study habits, and loves to talk shit about his classmates to his friends.

not to mention the kids they may have gone on to have. harry didn’t only lose the guaranteed adults in his life when they died, but the potential for a huge family of cousins & second cousins that would grow up with him and love him unconditionally.
