Maybe some1 will notice..... someday!

After leaving Howard University because of differences with its president, Woodson devoted the rest of his life to historical research. He worked to preserve the history of African Americans and accumulated a collection of thousands of artifacts and publications. He noted that African-American contributions “were overlooked, ignored, and even suppressed by the writers of history textbooks and the teachers who use them.” Race prejudice, he concluded, “is merely the logical result of tradition, the inevitable outcome of thorough instruction to the effect that the Negro has never contributed anything to the progress of mankind.”

In 1926, Woodson pioneered the celebration of “Negro History Week”, designated for the second week in February, to coincide with marking the birthdays of Abraham Lincoln and Frederick Douglass.  The week of recognition became accepted and has been extended as the full month of February, now known as Black History Month.

it always pained me that so many black people think that black history month is in february as a result of some plot by racist whites to just give us the shortest month of the year. that’s not why black history month is in february and every black person who believes that belittles the great work of carter g woodson.

educate yourself my people.  

I don't think of myself as a boring person or a person that no one will lose interest in after getting to know, I feel like I miss out on things being an introvert, having almost no interaction with co workers on subjects outside if work I don't have much to speak on so I quiely listen while in my own world pretending to be as invisible as I am, I only seem to speak maybe once a week, when a moment comes otherwise I have no idea how to make myself known to people I've been working with.

Noticing that I've lost more than I've gained on tumblr, most of the content is being deleted daily that I've liked or tried to share from profiles I've followed, even seen posts about some people beginning to move to other apps because of unnecessary censorship, I thought Facebook and Instagram were bad but soon enough most of the people I follow will be gone, this is a truly sad situation, I thought social media was meant to Express your feelings and being free from judgement of the content we share because people have similar feelings about it,

I feel like I may not be saying things in the right way, but how can I Express myself if I can't say it without being deleted, restricted or terminated for what I say, texts, pictures, gifs etc, all gone from previous pages daily, how does tumblr and other apps expect to survive without users they delete for expressing themselves.

Maybe it is time to move on, its been short lived but I would rather be on app where content isn't being censored and profiles are free to say and do what they want on their pages without it being deleted

How do I connect to people (not bots) to learn from and to grow in a place I still don't understand?
