"Well, your sister and I were getting some groceries for the family get together." She told them as Jensen looked at Y/N, confusing her slightly. "Ooh, yes, the get together." Y/N said and nodded smiling at her mom. "Don't get too drunk like you did two years ago." Her sister laughed and Y/N shot her a glare.

"Really funny, sister-heart." Y/N glared rolling her eyes at her and her sister kept laughing. "Anyways,-" Their mom rolled her eyes at them before looking at Jensen "-I hope you can drink a lot of-" her mom motioned to the bottle of alcohol "-this." She said with a small grin.

Jensen looked at Y/N and she gave him an apologetic look. "Yeah I guess so." She started giggling a bit.

"There's a good, a really good memory." Y/N said with a loud laugh.

Flashback

Jensen and Y/N went to a birthday party, when they were about a year together. They went to the party played some party games and Jensen drank a lot, maybe even a bit too much. She had to help him to walk and she also had some drinks, but not as much as he did.

Luckily, they just had to walk 10 minutes to their place, but it took more than 10 minutes. They needed about an hour to walk to the flat Jensen and she just got. About a few minutes he stopped walking.

"Get out of my way." He yelled at the sign. She jumped slightly at his yelling and turned around seeing he was talking to a fucking stop sign.  She took out her phone and filmed it, because she had to send this Gen and Jared. "Get the fuck out of my way." Jensen yelled again.

"I'm Dean Winchester so get away!" and then it was getting embarrassing, because the few people who'd were on the streets that night started looking weird at him. Y/N pulled him from the sign away and they walked home.

The next day she showed him the video, he was like, I wasn't myself, I was drunk. He felt embarrassed, about his encounter with the stop sign. Plus, she was laughing so hard.

"What kind of memory?" Y/N's sister asked curiously. "I don't want to embarrass him in front of you, I just say there was a birthday par-" he choked on his food. "-ty."

"What did you want to ask me?" she asks him.

"Yeah, everything's alright. I'm just planning on doing something and wanted to ask you for your opinion and help." He said while playing with the ring box in his pocket.

"Spill it." Her sister says as he's getting a bit nervous, he put the velvet box out of his pocket and revealed the ring to them. "You don't." They both said. "And-" he started but cut off almost immediately. "Of course you have my blessing." her mom told hun and looked at the ring. "It's beautiful and I just know she'll like it."

"Really?" He asked shyly and maybe even unsure.

"Of course." her sister squeezed his shoulder assuringly, letting him know everything's gonna be alright. "So what do you need our help for?"

"Are there any places she likes here?"

"Yeah, there's a lake, just 10 minutes from here." her sister smiles at Jensen. "When do you want to ask her?" Her sister asked curiously.

"To be honest? Right now. But I'm really unsure if I'm not rushing anything." "I think you're not rushing anything-" her mom speaks up. "-you two know and love each other for so long now. Just some bad and stupid things happened, but that's life." She gave him a reassuring smile.

"You know it would be cool, if you two got engaged, before all of the family get here." her sister said excitedly, making Jensen kinda even more nervous. "But it's your choice and don't worry, most of them speak English." Her mom told them gently. "I was thinking the same, it would be a great announcement. Even tho I had other plans. " He said happily.

"What did you have got for plans?"

"I wanted to propose to her in Italy or Amsterdam. I planned a little trip through Europe." "Wow, that's really romantic. But you can still do this trip, you know that?"

"But I think it will be more special and unique if you propose to her at a place she loves more than everything and she knows so well." her mom spoke up.

"You're right." He smiles at her and thanked them before disappearing upstairs. He smiles as he saw her watching TV not understanding a word, but thinking it sounds funny tho.
