NIGHTS WITH TOM MARVOLO RIDDLE ☽

nocturnal creature, he flourish in the dark 

surrounded by scrolls, leather bound books and old parchments that crumble with the slightest touch

yet his hands are careful and delicate as he is roaming his finger through the ancient symbols 

you could watch him like this for hours, deeply focused and painfully beautiful in the dim light of candles

his furrowed brows the only sign he is a creature capable of human emotions and not just an immaculate marble sculpture 

he’s not some poor scribe hunched over stack of papers, he is full of grace as he is sitting behind his desk reading and learning the most wicked things with his shoulders upright, his face sharp and regal even when he thinks no-one is watching 

epitome of effortless elegance and sophisticated mind, you don't meet someone like him often if ever

his eyes are holding dark secrets in them

which you desperately want to know but can’t, he shall take them to the grave with him 

also this hint of a ineffable glimpse of sadness hidden deep within as unmerciful fate always watches him closely, it kills you and it kills him too

sometimes you share a glass of wine, his head rest on yours, his free hand caress your neck and it feels right, it feels like your whole existence was made so you could be here with him right now

although you can’t see it Tom is lost in his thought, his guard lowering for a moment, his shoulders relax

sometimes you are slow dancing in tight embrace, your hand on his chest, feeling his heartbeat and reminding yourself once again he's alive 

his head lean across yours and you feel his black strand of hair tickling your cheek

and not like George at all it would seem

it’s making him quite miserable

so for now he's master of stealing glances

his friends are teasing him a lot because of this

because it turn out that actually you have a lot in common

he waves at you, cooky smile glued to his face

making you feel hot on the cheeks

goes extra mile to show off during the game when he know you’re watching 

he lives for your constant attention basically 

he loves to see you laugh too

and he loves to help you whenever he can

specially when a touch is included 

his hands are big and warm

surprisingly delicate

when they brush non-existing puff off your cheek

sometimes he can be sarcastic or a little mean but it doesn’t come from a bad place if you know what I mean

intrigued by your vulnerability, Tom observes you from afar

he’s confused about why he’s drawn to someone who embodies everything he detests

weak and… lonely and yet he finds it impossible to look away

there appears to be an inexplicable connection, something he can't quite articulate—a certain… sadness?

when you look at him your gaze softens and it makes Tom feel exposed, a feeling of an unsettling transparency washes all over him, catching him off guard

when he looks at you a shiver runs down your spine, you feel uneasy, no one ever looked at you like he did

and one time when he saw tears shimmering in your eyes, he understood. oh, how he desired to play with you, to take everything from you

devour your soul, make you cry but only because of him

it all begins in the quiet corners of the library. Tom materialize out of thin air, his smile beautiful and you can’t believe it’s meant for you

together, you share a quiet companionship amid the books. he’s studying unbothered and you just let him be

you didn’t want to disturb someone like him

“you seem to be enjoying that book” he said the other day, and it felt like a warm hug

as the days were passing by, you two engage more and more in late-night conversations, debating literature, history, and the intricacies of the magical world

Tom’s taking it slow, he doesn’t want to scare you, not yet- at least

when his long fingers brushed gently against yours it made you feel things you never felt before, it ripped you apart even though it was such a small gesture

and that’s when he knew, he knew you were at his mercy, “I just… adore you”, he said, looking at you as a predator may look at its prey

you were so eager to his touch… it was endearing really. when he was running a thumb over your lips, looking at you with those eyes piercing your soul, it felt like there’s only you and him in this world

when he was sliding his hands into your hair it felt like heaven

when he was standing slightly before you, tall and proud, you felt protected

when he tilted his head slightly and chuckled lightly at your words, you felt worthy

yet sometimes he hurt you, and no one could hurt you like he did. his words were sharp and when you cried he kissed away your tears

he seemed to love when you cried

but only if it was because of him

others couldn’t do it, you were his and his alone to play, so when somebody stood in your way they dealt the consequences, and trust me they weren’t nice

so it was truly just you and him at the end., but you didn’t feel lonely like before

“ I will never abandon you” he said softly, his nose in your hair, your hands in his

☾⋆⁺₊⋆quiet nights spent with Gale⋆⁺₊⋆ ☾

in Waterdeep (little bit of fluff, little bit of cozy)

The air is filled with the gentle glow of candles, casting warm light that dances across the walls. It creates an atmosphere of countless nights spent in the company of Gale. The open windows invite a gentle summer breeze, caressing your bodies as you both hunch over endless books, scrolls, and ancient parchments, studying and exchanging thoughts. The enchanted piano plays in the background. The night is starry and the moon is as beautiful as ever.

Sometimes you catch Gale massaging his temples while mumbling under his nose when he's reading his pupils' work. He shares some of his thoughts with you here and there, and you can't help but smile at his furrowed brows. It almost feels like you're teaching alongside him. When Gale looks particularly tired you massage his tense shoulders. (sometimes it ends up in the bedroom but that's a story for another time!)

Evenings on his balcony, now sitting in a favourite spot for both of you, involve conversations, wine and crips grapes. Heart to hear, you watch the horizon, enjoying each other's company. Sometimes words are unnecessary; you simply exist together, souls full of love and devotion. Blessed to be here, together.

As you prepare to sleep, Gale observes you with genuine interest and with those eyes that conveys pure admiration. He ask a lot of questions and is proven surprisingly knowledgable about skincare. Adores the smell of your damp, soft skin after a bath with some scented oils.

In bed, he reads "for pleasure", getting absorbed in the story. You can tell he truly loves reading and admiring the art of a good story. Sometimes Gale reads aloud, petting your hair or holding your hand gently until you fall asleep. And sometimes you're not sleeping at all, talking away the night, sharing your deepest thoughts. Eyes starry. You could tell him everything, and you feel like it's the same for him. Your connection goes far beyond being just lovers; you are soulmates.

you feel so loved when you are laying on his chest, hearing him hum peacefully, feeling his heart beating and magic coursing through his veins

you feel so loved when he kisses every one of your fingertips with such dedication

you feel so loved when he places his head on your tights; a gesture of profound affection and vulnerability

In the stillness of the night, Gale is even more loving, more romantic than he already is. Every night, he utters those three precious words,

" I love you"

as you fall asleep. His kisses your forehead gently, holding you in a tight embrace as if he never wanted to let you go. In the darkness, when it seems like there's only the two of you in this vast and strange world, Gale reveals the most exquisite, soul-ravaging declarations that leaves you breathless. It's a moment when time halts, and in the intensity of his words, you sense that Gale loves you with every fiber of his being.

♡ WHEN OMINIS HAS A CRUSH ON YOU♡

- slow burn

- and you cannot convince me otherwise (!)

- due to his careful and thoughtful nature

- at first, he may appear distant, but you've already surpassed that stage as the two of you are friends already

- when he realised he liked you more than a friend, he would analyse it a lot, It’s just who he is

- #trust issues

- so at first you wouldn’t see any change in his behaviour

- for months even

- except that he would get a little uneasy while talking with you sometimes

- and also, when you and Sebastian would be up to something bad again, he would 100% blame Sebastian for all of it and not you

- he would save you a seat in classroom, share his notes, play cards in undercroft together, making fun of Seb

- but slowly something is changing

- his action would have more depth into them?

- while talking with you, he would be more lively and smiley

- he would listen to what you have to say very intently (well, surely even more than before)

- little grins here and there

- sometimes with bonus: raised brows

- when you are near him, he feels it in his chest somehow

- you two would slowly spend more time together, just the two of you, as he opens up more and gets more comfortable

- once you randomly told him he has beautiful profile (because he really does!!)

- then his cheeks would get pretty rosy (and if Sebastian would see it he would laugh so hard)

- Ominis would try to brush it off with some sarcastic comment

- shy boy trying be cool about everything..

- before asking you for a first date he would be in total panic mode and overthink it for like five weeks straight

- but after Sebastian has threaten him that he would tell you about Ominis gigantic crush on you he finally surrenders and ask you out, thank you very much

- and obviously you say yes....

- he’s a gentleman, so I see flowers given to you with a troubled smile because it’s hard switching between friends and suddenly going on a date, you know

- he would take you somewhere fancy for a tea or sth

- and he would take your coat and pull the chair out for you

- so charming ! ! !

- and then finally he gets confident and open up more

- about his feelings and his past

- also about how he feels about you of course

- which opens your eyes a little because he can be so secretive, hiding everything behind his cool look, furrowed brows, and kind gestures

- you realise he was holding back so much

- your heart melts a little by that thought ♡
