This scene with Tarkin just kills me. Because Echo risked his life at the Citadel just to get this mf out. Echo put himself in danger & suffered tremendously just so they could get this asshole out of prison & it was all in vain, because Coruscant gets attacked anyway & this mf has the audacity to turn Imperial.

You can see the rage in Echo's face when he first sees him in the mess hall, but then, and even after Tarkin just used live rounds on them (!) we get the scene in the barracks.... Tarkin walks in & they all have to stand to attention (!) and holymotherforkingshirtballs that makes me angry.

The fact that Echo has to pay any sort of deference to this pus-infecting, mucous cruding, pond scum-feeding fungus is so infuriating. Echo risked his life, was blown up, captured & tortured for years & not only has Tarkin pissed on that sacrifice by joining the Empire, he ramps up his abuse by treating the Batch like objects with 0 regard for their humanity/life. And even after all that, Echo doesn't tell him to ke'gyce lo shebs'ul narit (put his orders where the sun don't shine).

Tarkin got off too easy. In terms of crimes against my fav Dominos, Nala Se did too... but at least Nala Se did some good towards the end....not it that excuses her crimes, but Tarkin deserved a much worse end.

And then Rex & Omega meet up during the Rebellion & she's going on and on about how beautiful Pabu is & Rex turns to Echo like "why the shab didn't you mention Pabu was a beautiful shabla island you miserable di'kut?! I was stuck in a tank with Gregor & Wolffe for years, you chakaar!"

So Rex knew about Pabu, right? It seems to me that when looking at retirement, Rex had a choice to make. He could spend the rest of his life chilling on a tropical island paradise, or he could live in a sweaty old tank on a desert planet eating worms.

We know what he chose.

OMG YES! I cannot understand how everyone isn't head over heels in desperate love with this man. He is the absolute bestest. Like everything og poster said + LOOK AT HIS FACE! He is so cute! His lil smile, his grumpy pout, he has the kindest most adorable face & the fiercest scowl you ever saw

Listen idk if it’s because I’m really emotional right now, but can we take a moment to appreciate Echo? I love that man so much he is so dear to me. Despite everything he’s been through, he’s still so genuinely kind and good, but is still the same badass we all know him as. He has so much fight in him, but can also admit when he’s wrong and apologize and move forward with a desire to do better. He’s hilarious but can also be so serious. He’s lost so much and so many people. He allows himself to feel his grief. He’s so loyal. He has strong convictions but isn’t afraid to be challenged and questioned. He’s a tough as nails, badass ARC trooper who can be so gentle and caring with kids, especially with Omega, but also encourages her chaotic streak. Just…Echo man.
