Lily and Regulus both loves bookstores, and James loves them, so he doesn't mind that they like to spend too much time here.

James is right there, with bags of other goodies in hand, slowly following his partners as they have a goal of going through every aisle of fiction in their impossibly huge bookstore. From time to time, one of them picks up a book and reads the annotation out loud, comments on the cover design, or simply points to the spine saying, “I've seen reviews of this, we should try it,” or “I heard it's terribly written, don't even look at it.”

Eventually, they find themselves standing in front of shelves with incredibly beautiful editions of world classics, looking at books they have read several times, but still love so much that they are happy to turn the pages right there and look for their favorite moments.

James himself is drawn to the comics and art books section, looking for something new for his gaming collection. He flips through the pages of the latest magazines; looks at the price tags, and horrified, puts the art book he wants back on the shelf, thinking he'll buy it some other time. But later, at the checkout, he sees Regulus paying for a stack of their new books and Lily for the same artbook, just ceremoniously handing the purchase to James with a big smile, while Regulus gently kisses him on the cheek.

"What song reminds you of me, James?" Regulus asked as music warbled from the record player sitting in the middle of the little flat.

James sat deep in thought for a moment before answering. "Yellow. By Coldplay."

Blushing, Regulus smiled softly, hiding his face by turning away.

Evan, however, turned to Barty and said thoughtfully, "You know the song 'Toxic?'"

James and Regulus both burst out laughing while Barty gasped and hit Evan with a pillow, cheeks bright red.
