This is little "Hoshi", R-4-Z-I-E-L's OC! 😄 I drew it as a "thank you" gift for giving me a Toyhouse code, since they said they'd love to get fanart of their characters. 💖

Pink is my favorite color and I love drawing creatures like this one, so I had a lot of fun drawing this lovely OC! ✍🌸 I'm looking forward to giving Toyhouse a try to see what the site's like, hehe.

P. S. Yup, I'm still working on my RuPaul realistic painting! 😂 I just need to finish painting the dress to complete it... it's just that there are too many sequins, lol!

Bringing more old Hakuouki art! ⚔️🌸 I drew this quick portrait of Heisuke wearing his kendo uniform in 2018 and I still think it's one of my best drawings of him, haha. 💖

Day 18: "Zombie", featuring Toudou Heisuke! 🌸 (Hakuouki).

I know Heisuke isn't a literal zombie but some kind of vampire, lol, but I plan to draw another character for the "Vampire" prompt and, since Heisuke is literally brought back to life as a monster that goes berserk and tries to eat humans, I think he counts as a metaphorical zombie, haha! 🧟‍♂️

I was watching Schindler's List (one of my favorite movies 💖), when I had to stop the movie to take care of some business. When I came back, I noticed that I had paused it at the moment where Oskar Schindler gives his gold watch to Itzhak Stern for him to use as a bribe in order to get an elderly couple (the Perlmans) added to the list. 📝✍

This isn't only a pivotal moment in the film (and in the true story that inspired it as well 🕯️), but it also involves my favorite character (Itzhak Stern, played masterfully by Sir Ben Kingsley 👏), and some exquisite cinematography (just look at that camera work and lighting! 🎥✨) that inspired me to try to paint it in my beloved Paint Tool SAI. 🖌️

The painting took about 50 hours and was done with 1 medium/large flat brush, 1 small round/bristle brush (both with chalk texture to make them look more realistic and less "digital" 😉), and 1 very large water/blur brush (which was only used for the background, as I didn't want to blur the character so that the painting would look more traditional and less "photographic" than some of my previous works 👀).

The hardest part to paint was Itzhak's forehead and, to my great surprise, the easiest was the glasses! Which surprised me since it's the first time I've painted a realistic portrait of someone wearing them, haha. 👓🤭

🔸Favorite OC: My poor freckled daughter with self-esteem issues whose life I love to mess up with memory issues and vampiric apocalypses, Furukawa Chie (Hakuouki OC) and her mischievous Shiba Inu stray dog, Yokai.

🔸First OC: April Saito (Digimon OC), who I created when I was only 10 years old! April will grow up to become a Digimon rights activist, so I thought it'd be fun to draw her protesting with a "✅Yes to Digital Intelligence / ❌No to Artificial Intelligence" sign along with Gigimon, who has a matching anti-AI bandana.

🔸Fans' Favorite OC: Rice Ritz, head of the "Kame Warriors" (my troop of Time Patroller OCs from Dragon Ball Xenoverse), who used to be wildly popular back in 2018 when we ran amazing "OC vs OC" tournaments on DeviantArt.

🔸Easiest to Draw OC: Furukawa Kohana (Hakuouki OC), which caused my sister to go "What do you mean Kohana is the easiest one for you to draw?!". 😂 Maiko/Geiko are one of my special interests, so she's one of the few OCs I can draw from memory without having to consult a character sheet, lol.

🔸Hardest to Draw OC: Tani Sanjuro (Hakuouki OC), the arrogant yet skillful captain of the 7th Division of the Shinsengumi that both me and my fic's readers love to hate… and who has features as difficult to draw as his whole wardrobe!

🔸The Artist: Lady Yomi herself! 👀 Referenced from a real photo so that's why I'm wearing my noise cancelling headphones, haha.
