ao3 learning english I'm the best of my class at English because I spend my days reading fanfiction idk at one point I found out English fanfics were definitely more and written better and also there is near to zero lotr/the hobbit fanfiction and that was the main problem btw my dad alwyas tells me “if you want to learn English you gotta read a lot of book in Enlish so here you go now you have to read these'' and then I think “I literally spend 70% of my screen time reading about gay men in English” but of course I can't say that because he's a homophobe
