Seeing Beast Boy portrayed as a prankster in so many media is pretty weird to me sometimes, given his history in the og Doom Patrol comics.
He literally gets kidnapped by two thieves and brainwashed into thinking these tormentors are his friends. Then he plays a childish prank on his captors that leads to them killing each other in front of him and BB genuinely grieving their deaths, feeling as though he's lost the only friends he had.
Sure, his character still makes jokes to cover up his trauma, but you'd think an event as traumatic as him losing his only "friends" and him (accidentally) causing the deaths of two people would make him wary to pull any pranks on people again
So anyway, this Friday (4/21)....

Tom Taylor, I'm sorry I doubted your ability to understand these characters
