Always thought that Caul has a “peculiar radar” too (if I remember correctly ymbrynes have that. Makes it easier for them to find peculiars). So that his powers are just a teeny tiny bit more similar to that of an ymbryne. Just a bit. Not too much though. Just like I think Myron can freeze time just a smidge
Also like to think that it wasn’t an ymbryne (very likely V) who assured Abe Jacob is peculiar, but Caul, who paid him a visit and unfortunately for Abe, got to take a look at little Jacob, confirming that “awe he is just like you :) ❤️”

My first thought was drawing this with Jacob instead of Alma (maybe I’ll still draw that), cause they told everyone Jacob killed Caul, but then I remembered the ymbryne council symbol
