"Hmm," Lewin hums thoughtfully at that. A change of heart. Seems like it could be true but he has a feeling there's more to it. With Jaden gone though, most of the minor tension Lewin had in his body melts away and he lazily stretches, a smile on his face.

"Dennis decided to wander the Forest District and ran into an organization called M.E.C.H. who has been looking for Sir Pheles," he shrugs lightly, taking a couple of steps forward to avoid being stationary. "They took him, he summoned Rin - Exciting stuff! - and Jaden got them back. That's more or less it." He turns and smiles to Fujimoto. "I'm surprised you came back on your own. Sir Pheles made it sound like you ran head over heels at the mere mention of Satan."

"I had a change of heart." Shiro answers simply, hoping he can leave the matter to just that. Knowing Lewin, he won't be able to but perhaps the emotional factor will throw Lewin off as well.

Only time will tell, as they say.

"This is a rather interesting mess to come home to though." The Paladin gestures to the area Jaden had formerly been occupying, before Krobus whisked him away to who knows where. "Can you fill me in on any details?" The account he got from Rin earlier had been fairly detailed, but it was also lacking in some ways that Shiro couldn't overlook either. He couldn't hold it against his boy though either. Being emotionally invested into the matter, in Dennis' well being, would make it impossible for him to tell a straight story.

This is where Lewin's natural curiosity and apathy could come in though, as always.

Time to experiment. He licks his palm without hesitation. Nothing. Interesting! He has to push it.

Lewin is going to raid the old dorm's fridge for an onion which he proceeds to bite into like an apple.

Lewin smiles. He'll have to commend Mitch later, because the kid can sure hold his mask when needed. He could make a pretty good spy if needed. For now the Arc Knight also have to keep up appearance.

"Aah, really?" he drawls, leaning a little on the desk. "I don't need to buy a separate charger or nothing?" Hacking and modifying is exactly what Lewin wants to do with the device, but he makes note of the 'subtle' hint to read the ToS. He's very curious of the technology in these gaming machines.

"Yep," he says, popping the P. "Decided to do a little road trip through my old stomping grounds. Y'know how it is," he grins. "Got any recommendations for games? Kinda new to the whole gaming thing."

Another day of having to work in the store, this time with 'dream team' Miko and Five. If one were to ask Mitch in the summertime, they'd probably hear about how it's torture that he's once again paired up with the new recruits who have proven their work by sheer teamwork. It took all of five seconds for them to become best friends. ...Nowadays it isn't that bad. While left out of the two antic's, however, he finds himself watching the two with a frown, trying to suppress the urge to leave the counter then and there in effort to shut them down. It's better, after all, to instead set up a way to force inclusion, and then stick to the duo like glue. Slow days give him plenty of time to think of something new - maybe march over and claim they need his help when they never asked, or perhaps - The scheming is interrupted by the awfully familiar voice going up to the counter. Ugh. Right. Have a job to do.

"All modern Hinobi consoles work in other countries," he grabs the handheld barcode scanner, standing straight up, "along with any and all cartridges and discs working on all matters of machines, with one exception: China. That'd also fall under hacking and modifying, which here at Hinobi we do not endorse. I encourage you to review our - " his eyes flicker towards the man in front of him as his hands grabbed a game, brows arched briefly - "...ToS." Doing the research now... Lewin couldn't have gone to any other store? There's a specific reason he's entered this particular store out of the other Hinobis that surely isn't just bothering Mitch. "Just passing through Bailley then?" his eyes advert to the products once again as he scans the games, then takes his time looking over the handheld(the home consoles are much less trouble to repair, meanwhile handhelds usually require one to contact the repair department... Mitch'll just snag the right parts himself in advance to skip that step).

Lewin grins. Well then, it seems Dennis followed the steps for demon summoning that Lewin had simplified for him. He had just never expected that it'd work on a Nephilim. A shared chant, a strong connection and some demonic blood... Fascinating! Lewin leans back a little, considering the implications of it all.

"And you two are dating, yeah?" He has picked up a little bit of that, or at least implications of that though he hasn't had it fully confirmed. It would definitely help if they had that connection. Lewin leans forward again, putting his chin on his fist with a teasing smile. "And you looooove him~?"

Very much so. Even after admitting his 'chant', Dennis still has trouble looking directly at Lewin and settles for just looking around the Arc Knight, like at his shoes, the scarf around his neck, the wall behind over and over his shoulder; all things that are close enough to him without actually being him.

It's pathetic, and Dennis knows it, but he's got to process bury his shame first before he can properly face Lewin again.

"Y-Yeah, I do, a-and he does. Or, should. I-I dunno if he actually does or not, but we listen to a lot of music together - especially when there's a ton of drama happening around him. It's like, our quiet time thing, ya know? So I'll share my music with him and.. I guess these lyrics could kinda apply to us? But like, it'd be super dorky if they did, cause like..." Dennis gestures around vaguely, failing purposefully to use his words and further explain himself because how does one explain that he and his boyfriend have a sun-moon motif/dynamic going on that they half assigned to each other-half got assigned to them without being full blown cringe about it?

The answer: you don't.
