Danny got knocked unconscious, over a city he isn't familiar with, and was found (as a human) and taken to the local hospital. The city was Gotham, and after they gave the kid a CATscan they literally begged the Commissioner to call Batman.

The CATscan revealed that someone had cut this kid open and carved runes into their bones.

The hospital is terrified.

This is supervillain shit.

Is the kid the villain or is he being hunted by one? They don't know! But they can't keep him around either way!

Or: When Danny was electrocuted to his half-death, the transition from being mortal to being supernatural got written into his bones by the electricity and changed into actual ghostspeak by the Zone. Because magic. So his bones have ghostspeak burned/carved into them, reciting what his thoughts were when he died. It's actually not that deep though because his thoughts were "AAAAHHHHH FUCK FUCK FUCK SHIT FUCK THIS HURTS HOLY SHIT AAAAAAA". This causes some misunderstandings when he's actually unconscious long enough to let doctors get their hands on him.

Deadman has the same spiritual signature as a Blob Ghost.

This is a bit of a problem, because every time new Justice Leaguer Phantom is in the same room as him, Phantom has to restrain himself from trying to eat the poor ghost.

He doesn't hide what he wants to do very well though.

His pupils dilate, he fidgets in place, and keeps snapping his head to look at Deadman.

That said, JLD try to keep them very far apart.

They appreciated a super powerful ghost like Phantom resisting the urge to devour their friend, though.

Or; AU where blobs are like a delicious candy/full course meal depending on where they've been, and Deadman is a walking talking buffet. Because of Deadman's rather strange happenstances, he registers as a very decadent blob ghost. Danny is mortified because he keeps seeing this ghost and his instincts kick in with "Food? Food. Hunt? We hunt? We should hunt. Food moved! Food is moving! We follow! We did not follow. Give chase!"

There was a huge fight, and Clark ordered Jon to stay away. After the fight, he sees a black haired kid flying above the clouds, above the battlefield.

He uses his superspeed to grab Jon by the ear and hold him in place.

"Jonathan Samuel Kent, what did I tell you not to do?" Clark says in full dad voice, floating around to take in his sons guilty face and...that's not Jon.

That's not Jon.

That's a little girl the same age, with black hair and terrified blue eyes that are welling up with tears.

Clark lets go of her like he's been burnt.

"I....I am so sorry, I thought you were...are you okay? Did I pull your ear too hard?"

The girl bursts into tears.

Clark, tired and panicking, damn near joins her.

Or; AU where the Jon age up doesn't happen, and a very tired Clark has a case of mistaken identity when he goes to cold his son and grabs one Dani Phantom instead, floating in her human form and just Vibing. Except Dani has really, really bad past experiences with adult men "scolding" her, did not have her guard up, and got thrown into a very bad place mentally the absolute second Clark's fingers tightened on her ear. Now Clark is stuck with a panicking, sobbing tween, while he himself is so tired that he's seriously considering joining her in her crying session.

Fucking love it when the GCPD “declares war” on Batman and like genuinely tries to arrest him. They’re like, “Put your hands up! We got you now!” Explain to me what you expect to happen, cop boy. Explain to me in words I can understand.
