And we know that Liu Kang had been a god for a good billions of centuries now. Even if was once a human, it’s not weird to think that after so long of being a Titan, he would’ve forgotten how aging felt. What it felt like to being able to die. Do you guys think he experienced something similar to body dysmorphia when he became mortal again? And that the same happened when he became a god the first time?

Same happened to me, and I kid you not, I was genuinely talking. Specially during our final battles on the indigo disk. I don’t know what it is about this guy that makes me wanna break through the fourth wall and explain to him his narrative purpose, but his arc really compels me — maybe it’s the way his obsession completely, dramatically overtakes him
