Okay, so for clarification: I'm only at the beginning of one piece but like-

Just looking at Mihawk makes me think that this man would have some quirk about him the way Gomez Adams does when Morticia speaks french

Like the black and white Adams family tv show kind specifically

Like this man would go out of his way to kiss his partner's hand/arm at the sound of them speaking a different language (idk what language would suit him best for this ngl)

Like especially the scenes where it causes some silly shenanigans like when Gomez couldn't kiss Morticia due to being in a suit of armor or something

I stand by the my headcanon that Dave quotes romcoms Karkat likes to be funny

Like he starts with the weirdest and obscure ones that only Karkat would know (because Karkat would be the type to memorize romcoms scripts) but on the rare occasion he says one of the mushy romance quotes "ironically" it just makes Karkat melt

Also he'd say a mushy one like a few times to try and win an argument by distracting Karkat but it would just cause Karkat to vacillate between red and black and get louder as he argues with some "if you weren't so handsome" and "I wanna kiss you to make you shut up" thrown in

I feel like Dirk is the type to hear someone talk about how one piece is super long and they can't get into it and just go "I caught up to the manga in a night while making a robot"

And when asked what ereading device/site he used to read it he goes "I read the physical copies" without mentioning that the reality was having squarewave or sawtooth holding the book/turning the pages for him

I feel like if Dirk Strider went to regular highschool he'd be the kind of guy who looks normal but under his hoodie he has a rainbow dash tee and he hangs out with basically every clique except the like bullies

Like obviously he'd have family in a couple clique as an in for some of them but for others he's just there for his genuine interest and gains friends (example: robotics club and anime club) or he ends up friends with someone through asking them the randomest shit and somehow gaining a friend after a while of doing so

Mans probably doesn't even realize how many people consider him a friend until he's going through it and now like most of the school is contacting him checking in
