Some advice for when you’re writing and find yourself stuck in the middle of a scene:

kill someone

ask this question: “What could go wrong?” and write exactly how it goes wrong

switch the POV from your current character to another - a minor character, the antagonist, anyone

stop writing whatever scene you’re struggling with and skip to the next one you want to write

write the ending

write a sex scene

use a scene prompt

use sentence starters

read someone else’s writing

Never delete. Never read what you’ve already written. Pass Go, collect your $200, and keep going.

Giiiiirl. My dumb ass thought you meant 1 and 77. I just now realized you meant the whole list. 😂 😱  Sooooo here are the two I’ve written answers for: 1. Do you prefer writing one-shots or multi-chaptered fics?

I’ve only written one fic so far and it’s going to be a long one, so I'll roll with multi-chaptered for now! Maybe down the line, I'll throw in some quick one-shots for fun.

I’m kinda new to this whole fic writing thing, but I've got an extensive history of role-playing on French forums. I’m talking 300 to 600 words POV snippets, going back and forth with a partner, so I'm no stranger to keeping a story going for quite a while, in some cases even up to a few years.

77. Do you have a favorite scene you’ve written from Crimson Dusk, Cerulean Dawn?

My favorite scene hasn't been posted yet, and it won't be for quite some time. It's one of the original ideas that inspired me to write the fic, but… You know, there's a whole slowburn to go through before we get to that bit. 😏😚

For the chapters that have been posted, I really enjoy it when Maul's subtle sense of humor shines through, and, of course, when he delves into his big philosophical Force nerd side. As for Ahsoka, there's something intensely satisfying about writing her holding her ground against him. In chapter 3, the scene in the ship right before they get to Mandalore, and later, the one in the empty hangar where they buck heads, are probably my two favorites.     

I'd be happy to discuss all the other questions too, but I think that, maybe, it would be more interesting as an actual back-and-forth conversation...? 😊 Do you have Discord? Hit me up in my DMs if you ever feel like it.
