I’ll keep working on colors but I’m actually pretty happy with this.  Somehow this turned into a role reversal au?  Cause I mean, look how smug Adora looks.  Also I based this off Pacific Rim -  The Black so Adora’s totally a pilot and Catra I think would apply as the badass one that has unnatural abilities.  Like the white haired boy in the series.

So I’ve been crying for the better part of tonight.

Ya see, I started watching POSE on netflix and the transgender representation is just - it warms my heart so much it made me cry.  Like, I still am.  

Along with the other representation that’s also amazing, it feels like finding gold among copper.  Only rarely do I see representation that moves me this much and as a trans person myself, it’s just, there’s no words it’s just perfect.

Now excuse me while I go cry some more at this beautiful masterpiece.    

Woah, it’s a old art thingy I made in middle school.  Gonna admit, it’s really cringy cause my style was not the best at the time but the meaning behind it isn’t.

Rewind back to middle school, seventh grade I think, when I was really starting to feel the dysphoria and all that mess I made this.  It was supposed to be how I felt.  Ya know, how I started to see myself as two entities rather than one.

I’m sure it’s pretty clear but the one on the right was what was physically in the mirror and the left what I saw myself as.  So, basically a bunch of angst.

Anyway - this is another old one that never saw the light of day and while the style is a little less than decent, the emotions I put into it is worth something.

I’m gonna put it out there, I’m still being blocked by art

I have NEVER seen anything more beautiful than trans Jesse Mcree, trans Hanzo shimada, or better yet trans mchanzo.  Who ever started it, I hope you have a long and joyful life.

Story time

So I love sharing this story, cause I it still makes me laugh and cause it was the spark to my multiple gender meltdowns.

So around - let’s say seventh grade - my school had a lockdown.  I later found out it was cause some guy was stealing a purse but whatever, it spared me the lesson.  Now in the classroom there was bathrooms and swear to god, everyone swarmed to the girl’s bathroom.  They literally poured in there until no one could fit.  So me and my group stayed in the corner between the bathrooms.

We all had roles, I spent the first half cramped with everyone else on the wall as one of my other friends stood in front of us like he was going to fight god and win.  Then I joined in with him as the four rest stayed behind us.  

This went on for a while - the guy was sure taking his sweet time but I still didn’t really mind.  I don’t know who, but someone brought up maybe we should go in the bathroom.  Except we all knew the only bathroom left was the boys and well, let’s just say we all turned out queer.  Except two - but anyway.

Me somehow feeling the most adrenaline in my life yelled “FUCK GENDER” and stomped into the boys bathroom.  Then we spent the rest of the time in there where one of my friends kept turning the lights on and off in attempt to scare us.  And the rest of us comforting someone else. 

Ah, good times.  Good times.
