I MIGHT BE SEEING MCR LIVE!!!!!! They ate playing at the wwwy at Las vegas and I bought tickets!!! However I am straight dumb and they are only getting shipped Oct 19. I scheduled for the 20th!! So like obvi I live too far away to be able to put it to the last min so I contacted the festival ground to see if they'll let me in with proof of purchase! Hopefully they say yes!!! Mcr lit means the actual world to me!! Like I'm actually insane about them so I'm so nervous and so excited. It's like an eight hour drive so I'll need to leave the day before and sleep in my car ｡ﾟ(ﾟ´Д｀ﾟ)ﾟ｡ but like I could make it work!!!

You know what I really hate about the US education, I mean aside from all the obvious stuff, is the just suck all the joy from literature and writing. Like have you guys ever taken something you are genuinely passionate about, something you could talk about for hours and put you thoughts in a slides how or essay format. I swear not only is it fun but you find yourself think more about you topic and drawing new conclusions and coming up with theory's about it. Things like that are genuinely so so fun to do. But the way that school forces you to do essay after essay about, let's be honest, boring shit makes people want to interact with fiction AND nonfiction less as a result. My entire class hated poetry, but I strongly belive it was because they were being forced to read ok poetry, like it wasn't bad but the topics and themes were so far removed from our sphere of life that we couldn't be gully engaged with them. Should people read stuff with unrelateable characters definitely but with something like poetry it's important that it means something to you. Same with long intense essays you shouldn't have to force every word you should need to go back and add filler to get the bare minimum word count. I've written essays like intro 5 body paragraph and conclusion essay, and loved every second of it. I've done 45 min presentations because I loved the work I did. I loved the research, I read a 2000 page book that was written and published 25 years before Hamelt was because I loved it, that book had over 250 poems in it and I loved it. Of course there will always be people who just will never like reading and writing just like there are people who will never enjoy math. But the way that school teaches it really turns people against it I think

You know what i need actually. A fanfic where Laura says 'I have a because of you" and Logan says "I'm sorry" Because he knows that it was not a gift, his life the life of every mutant in his universe is nothing but pain and agony, in his mind Laura is basically immortal and he has condemned her to the same never ending cycle of loss and grief that he is living. Him equating life with suffering would make him see her living as a eternal prison sentence. How many of her friends will die, how many wars will she be in the front lines for, how many times will she be betrayed. Logan is immortal in his universe (to the best of his knowledge at least) he could have seen it as abject cruelty to force her into what he perceives as endless suffering. Like Logan is detested in his universe he has lost every single person he loved and condemned himself to eternal hatred he could have seen letting Laura live and setting her on his own path especially considering how she openly looks up to him and is already mimicking his habits. Like pls. Now I am well aware that his is ooc i simply do not care.

Hey does anyone know Launchpad mcquacks age is the darkwing duck series? I'm making a sideshow about MY interpretation of Darkwings relationships and how his iffy at best mental health affects them. I wanted to see if there is a big age gap between them considering that most of the Fandom seems to agree that they were queer coded. For reference Drake is 35 ish at the time of the show.

Just had the horrific realization that I'm dean Winchester coded.

Older sibling to younger sibling who looked up to me but I'll I ever could be was a failure who would never truly be able to side with them because I'm am so desperate for my dad to love me so after my younger siblings leaves the family in an extreme way I side with my parents and try and force myself to be the perfect kid I was but now i have lost the reason to behave since they are no longer here. And it's only after I have lost my dad that I realize how much I miss them. The aching wound that is never going to go away because they looked at.me so fondly in my memories and I left them alone. And it turns out that despite me putting absolutely everything into being a good kid the best kid I will simply never be good enough and now I have lost everything for nothing.
