James shot up when he heard what sounded like something being dropped on the floor. 

He immediately put his glasses on and looked to his side, getting a rush of anxiety when he realized he woke up alone. 

You and Regulus weren't there and it had to be at around two or three in the morning considering it was pitch black outside. 

James immediately got out of bed and walked out of the room as quickly and quietly as he could while he felt his heart beating out of his chest and his mind raced.

What if someone was in their home? What if someone was hurting you and Regulus? 

James cursed at himself when he realized he came out of the room empty handed. How did he manage to forget his bloody wand?

He felt as if it was too late to turn back now.

While James was looking around their home in search of you and Regulus he noticed that there was light coming from the kitchen. 

With furrowed brows he proceeded to the kitchen with caution, his mind still getting the best of him.

He peeked into the kitchen and James felt all his anxieties wash away but his confusion only heightened. 

There you and Regulus were talking in hushed voices while… eating cookies?

Were you and Regulus having cookies?

Without him?

James never felt so offended in his life. There you two were the loves of his life having snacks without him! Especially when the three of you should be asleep.

A true betrayal. 

“What are you two doing?” James asked, making his presence known. 

Regulus and you looked up at James slightly startled and looking like two kids who were about to be scolded. 

Which you and Regulus both knew was a possibility since James often stresses about the importance of a ‘healthy sleep schedule’.

Whatever the hell that means.

You immediately grabbed a cookie holding it out to James giving him the biggest smile you could manage attempting to distract him from the fact that it was the middle of the night. “Cookie?” 

Regulus just dropped his head looking down while shaking it obviously not impressed with your attempt to distract James. 

Apparently James wasn't impressed with your attempt either since he took the cookie you had offered him with a quiet ‘thank you’ but then he decided to repeat his question.

How Rude. Literally not at all.

“What are you two doing?”

“Nothing much, you?” Your response earned a small frown from James and a small smirk and chuckle from Regulus.

Regulus proceeded to wrap an arm around you, kissing your head softly trying to hide his amusement from James. “We've been caught darling. No use trying to get out of it now.”

“Worth a shot.” You muttered while shrugging. 

Regulus just chuckled again thinking to himself that you might be spending a little too much time with Barty.

“Are either of you going to answer my question?” James asked concerned and slightly irritated but you knew his irritation was only coming from a place of worry.

James had a tendency to worry a lot about the people he carried about.

Especially you and Regulus. 

Since you could remember James has worried about yours and Regulus sleep schedules. You two could stay up all hours of the night, sometimes even days and you both could function properly which worried James since sleep is very important in maintaining a healthy body and mind. 

“We couldn't sleep so we decided to make cookies.”

“We tried to stay quiet so as to not wake you but someone dropped the backing sheet.” Regulus looked at you with a teasing look in his eyes as you glared at him while you muttered something about it being an accident.

James continued to look at you with a concerned look in his eyes but he couldn't help but feel his irritation faded since he had always found it hard to stay upset with you two especially when you both were the cutest people he has ever had the pleasure of laying his eyes on.

He just couldn't help but worry about your wellbeing. 

“Why didn't you wake me? I could have tried to help you two sleep.” 

“Jamie, it wasn't going to happen for us. It's just one of those nights.” You sent a small smile to James while grabbing his hand, pulling him towards you and Regulus gently. 

Regulus pushes some of James' hair out of his face so he could look in James' eyes; those eyes that Regulus loved with all his heart. “There was no point in all of us being awake mon amour.”

“Plus Jamie you get kinda grumpy when you don't get your beauty sleep.” Regulus nods in agreement while James just scoffs at the both of you but the small smile on his face shows he means nothing by it.

“That's beside the point. You could have still let me try… I just worry about you two sometimes.” 

Regulus pulls James closer so that the three of you are in a hug. “We know mon cerf, and you've done so amazing at helping us but sometimes old habits die hard and that's okay. Just because there's a few setbacks doesn't mean you've failed. We appreciate you so much.”

“We promise that we’re okay. Sleep just doesn't always come easy for us and that's not your fault.”

James sighs and nods, resting his head on you. “You're right, both of you.”

“Yeah. We normally are.” That earns a laugh from both of your boyfriends. 

James goes to give you a kiss on the cheek with a smile on his face while he whispers ‘I love you’. 

James stayed up with you and Regulus for as long as he could, finishing off the rest of the cookie and cuddling on the couch while watching movies.

You and Regulus stood up for most of the night till eventually all three of you were fast asleep on the couch in each other's arms.

Remus was pretty happy with his life at this point. 

He had great friends, a promising career and the most perfect and loving partners he could ask for.

But that didn't change the fact that for one night a month he absolutely loathed his life. 

He hated the moon almost as much as he hated himself during the moon.

Though over the years he had learned to accept what he was significantly more than he used to. 

He had learned to tolerate it. To live with it.

But that didn’t mean it didn't scare the absolute hell out of him most of the time. 

Especially when the conversation of moving in with his partners came into the loop. 

He was feeling beyond apprehensive about the idea of it all. 

It wasn't because he didn't love his partners, quite the opposite actually. It was because he loved them so much that the thought of accidentally hurting them or cursing them with the same fate as himself or… worse…  would often send him into a spiral of anxiety, overthinking and self loathing.

But eventually after months of reassurance -and Barty pouting- Remus caved and agreed that the four of you should finally move in together.

So after weeks of searching for a home -which according to you and Barty felt like it was taking ‘fucking forever’- you finally found your perfect home and moved in as soon as possible. 

That was a few weeks ago now and last night was the first full moon in the new house. 

Yesterday before nightfall Remus was beyond terrified. 

His mind had been clouded with overthinking and the absolute worst scenarios his brain could manage all day.

So when he woke up still in the basement that he and your entire friend group had spent countless hours reinforcing and charming -to Remus’s standards and preferences of course- he was so grateful. 

So grateful in fact that he was able to be distracted by the pain in his body a few moments longer than normal.

But eventually the pain consumed his body like it normally did.

For what could have been a few minutes or a few hours -Remus wasn't really sure- he just laid there looking up at the ceiling of the basement basking in the pain that ran through his body and his normal post full moon self loathing. Just completely lost in his own mind that was until he was pulled out by the sound of your voice.

“Moons? Are you awake?”

The sound of your voice had involuntarily brought a smile to Remus’s face and sent a wave of calm and comfort over him.

“Yea I’m awake love.” Remus groaned while sitting up feeling a few of his joints popping and his muscles tensing up.

It didn't take long for him to hear the sound of your footsteps coming down the stairs with a hot cup of coffee -that you meticulously made sure was exactly to his liking- and his favorite blanket in hand. 

Both things Remus had gladly and gratefully accepted.

“We made breakfast, if you're up for it.”

The sweet softens off your voice was slightly interrupted by Regulus chuckling.

“And of course by ‘we’ Y/N means they did the majority of the cooking since we all know I can't cook to save my life and we value our health enough to not want a repeat of when Barty tried to cook dinner for us the other week.”

Remus couldn't help but laugh a little, no matter how much it hurt, when he heard a very dramatic gasp from Barty.

“I'll have you know Black that I'm an excellent cook, you're just too much of a prick to appreciate such perfection.”

Remus continued to chuckle at the very familiar childish bickering happening between two of his lovers. 

He was actually enjoying the small distraction so much that he didn't notice when you sat next to him until he felt your shoulder brush against him.

“How are you feeling really, Remus?”

Remus couldn't help the small sigh that escaped his lips when he heard your words. “As good as to be expected love… I'm just grateful I didn’t get out and hurt one of you or worse...” 

You sighed softly and looked at Remus with a soft and loving look in your eyes. “Remus, I know you're worried but this bassment is a fortress. We'll be fine.”

Though you sounded so sure in your words Remus still wasn't fully convinced. 

His mind was already starting to spiral at this point with the possibilities and of the dangers that he imposed on the three most important people in his life.

Remus hadn't even realized he was now staring off into the black abyss of his coffee cup that was currently warming his hands till you placed your hand on top of his gaining his full attention.

When Remus’s eyes met yours he couldn't deny the love and honesty that he saw swimming in them which made your next words comfort him.

“We are fine. We will be fine. I know your anxiety won't go away but you need to remember that you have done everything in your power to ensure our safety and that's all you can do. Plus you know better than anyone that the three of us are very skilled with our magic so we are more than capable of taking care of ourselves. Not everything is on you Remus. We knew what we were signing up for when we asked for the four of us to move in together. We love you and everything will be fine I promise.”

Remus just sighed and nodded. 

A part of him honestly did feel better, he knew that he would never be a hundred percent comfortable for that one day a month but it made him feel better to know that you genuinely believed in your words and in him.

“Okay, I'll try to calm down more… I’m just so scared that I'm going to hurt one of you but I'll do my best to keep my anxiety at bay... Thank you, my love.”

Remus wrapped his arm around you and kissed the top of your head just being happy in the moment.

Once a month he loathed his life.

But everyday before and after the full moon he genuinely loved his life.

Right now he loves his life.

He had one of his lovers in his arms while his other two lovers were ‘fighting’.

This is the life he will forever be truly grateful for.

Author's Note: Damn okay so I haven’t posted a fic in a while but like heyyy? lol. this could also be kinda looked at as a pt2 to my other pandora. (??)

Summary: you and Pandora were on a little date and it gets interrupted by four snakes

You and Pandora had been dating for a few weeks at this point, it was new and existing, it was absolutely perfect. 

Pandora was perfect. 

Since you and Pandora started dating, one of your favorite things to do was just spend time with her. 

You didnt care what you did as long as you were with her.

Adventures in the Forbidden Forest, picnics, finding the things that the Nargles had stolen from her friends. (you still weren't completely sure about what a Nargle actually was but you didn't question Pandora.) 

Your absolute favorite though was your reading dates in a field that was covered in long grass and flowers.

Right now you were laying in said field under a tree in the shade, your head resting on Pandora's thigh while she read outloud to you. It was a truly peaceful moment that was soon interrupted.

“Dora! There you are! I've been looking for you everywhere!”

“Pans whatever this idiot is going to tell you is a complete lie!”

“Dorcas hit me!”

“I did not! And if I did hit him then he bloody well deserved it!”

Dorcas and Barty kept arguing about whether or not Doras hit him she did and whether or not he deserved it he did when Evan and Regulus came walking over completely unfazed by everything that was currently unfolding.

You had met Pandora's friends a few times in the last few weeks but you had never actually spent time with them without other people around so you were starting to grow a little nervous about this unprompted hangout. 

“Sister. Y/L/N.” Evan greeted while sitting down next to Pandora, giving you and her a small nod.

“Hello Evan. Hello Regulus.”

Pandora's voice was as smooth and calm as always giving you the confidence you needed to mutter a greeting to her friends as you sat up from your lying position.

At some point during Pandora, Evan and Regulus talking Barty and Dorcas ended up sitting down as well making all of you sit in a circle.

You were sat between Pandora and Dorcas, Barty sitting next to her and Regulus. 

Their conversation went on, it just followed so naturally between the five of them. 

You wanted to join in but didn’t know when to try and you didn't want to embarrass yourself by saying the wrong thing, and you didn’t want to embarrass Pandora even though you knew she could never be embarrassed by you but what if this one time you really messed up and said something really stupid and then she would be-

“Y/L/N what did you get on the Transfiguration essay?”

It took you a moment to realize that Evan was even speaking to you let alone what he was saying.

“Oh um I got an ‘O’.” 

“Dammit I an ‘A’”

“Well that's what happens when you write an essay the night before Barty, imagine if you actually applied yourself.”

Everyone laughed at Barty’s offended gasps caused by Regulus’ snarky remark.

The rest of the afternoon was spent in that field laughing, talking and bickering. You getting to know them and them getting to know you. You started to get more comfortable with them that day. 

Soon they weren't just Pandora's friends and you weren't just her partner. You started to see them as friends and so did they.
