how come all the teachers who are at the age where they've just gotten a few young grandchildren make presentations with random pictures that have to do with the words they are using but are actually largely unrelated and unhelpful to what they're talking about

I've read this book before (more than once, I think) that had something to do with skating and airplanes and in it they describe skater spook, where you think take too long to start doing something and think too much about it and it because you hesitated like that your ability to perform well is impacted and that's what I call it when I do that in my everyday life
