My system is developing into an elaborate network of bird lies. I have an alter named Gale which is short for Nightingale and their sona is a bird so you would think they would be a nightingale except if you asked them they would say they're actually a crow except I know that's a lie because they've also explicitly clarified that they're a magpie that dyed their wings to look like a crow. And they pretty frequently cofront with another alter (penny) and that cofront has a pretty strong sense of her own identity and her name is Phoebe which is another type of bird but if you asked if she was a phoebe she would say "no i do not like birds. I think that birds are beneath me. I prefer butterflies". And then her sona is. a goddamn crow
