I love a lot of things about Sarah J Maas’s work, but this is not one of them. Hardcore Feysand and SJM stans should probably stay away, I highly doubt you’ll like what I have to say.

You know what my hottake is about?

It's about how the world seems to have forgotten that Latine people exists.

And like i said, this is not me being against the BLM move or the StopAsianHate one. I know, and im aware, that black people and asian people right now have the short end of the stick in regards of being treated like human beings. I know they have it bad and i try my best to share posts about it, to learn myself about their history and be better.

But i cant stop being sad and wondering where is that same energy, that same flame of activism when is about Latines. Where is our pinned hashtag, a worldwide hashtag and not something just USA related. Where was that screaming, that yelling when Trump and co called us invasors, a plague. Where was/is that disgust sentiment when ICE started and still keeps separating Latines families and killing them. Where are our Twitter threads with thousands of carrds. Where are our infograms about the misogyny latine women go through. Where are the people asking for proper representation, when we are differrent cultures and not just Mexico and Brazil the same way Asia is not just China and Japan. Where are those voices defending us when police also attack us. When we are treated as an exotic place, as exotic people.

Like i said, this is not to put as against black and asian people. This just a wondering in that we just need to wait our turn to get the same awareness. And it just makes me sad to think that there needs to be a "competition" or a tragedy for us to be treated with respect.

But can we just take a moment to appreciate how good Mark Hamill looks in those pant???
