“I’m almost 50, and here is the best thing I have learned so far: every strange thing you’ve ever been into, every failed hobby or forgotten instrument, everything you have ever learned will come back to you, will serve you when you need it. No love, however brief, is wasted.” @louisethebaker on Twitter

Study set up for today! Studied for an exam I have tomorrow. I am enjoying having my notes on Pages, far quicker, convenient, and efficient. I can go back to add or change things, I have all of my module assignments and study material in the same document.

Hi guys. How's life? Interesting, I hope. I really like this spread. It is suitable if you can't don't like to draw (me), or if you are just beginner in bujo-ing which is what I always try to create every month (sometimes it doesn't turn out simple tho).
Anyways, my to-do list for today:
Watch webinar recording
Review Chinese vocabs
Do one Chinese reading exercise
I have a Chinese test coming up next week. Wish me luck

I just finished my part time job and now I have almost no obligation for at least 5 months. I used to wished for this kind of freedom, but now it is so undiluted it cripples me into stagnancy. I have bee trying to create a routine. However, I keep arguing with my head that I could always slack some more. All this time wasted... I know i will regret this. Nevertheless, I am happy (albeit a little frustrated) for all the things that I am still blesses with. I hope you have some joys in your day, no matter how small it is

22:52 — i survived the week’s hell! being able to rest unapologetically made me feel like i was awake 24/7 during the weekdays. anyway, i just realized january is about to end in less than 10 days… what the fuck?

“I am so afraid of disappointing the people I love, I often forget that I am someone I love too. And I need kindness just as much as I believe the people I love do.” -Nikita Gill
Coming home to nostalgia and childhood friends, entering a new year and trying to find beauty in small things.
“this reminded me of you” is one of the sweetest things someone can tell you. you’re in their thoughts frequently enough for them to see pieces of you in a song they listened to or a book they read or even in the character of a show they’re watching

“To make a difference in someone’s life, you don’t have to be brilliant, rich, beautiful or perfect. You just have to care.”
— Mandy Hale
I love the idea of studying. I love buying [hoarding] pretty pens and stationary. Carefully planning out my workloads in an agenda. Staying up into twelve with only a textbook and Spotify, trips to the library until it closes, an immaculate layout with all my books and paper spread out in front of me, cramping words onto flashcards until my fingers are stained with ink...
The only problem being, of course, having to actually study. But yes, I love the idea of studying.

The other day we went to pick up our joint gift. On the way there we decided to wonder down one of my favourite streets: it’s right in the heart of the city but kind of hidden, quiet and lined with beautiful old specialist bookshops 🖤

After 4 years of bullet journaling, I have found (kinda) new bujo set up that suits me best. And this year's planner is from my sister. The middle picture is my favorite habit tracker style, using dutch doors so that I won't have to repeatedly write the date. The pic on the right is some of my favorite non fictions book, highly recommended.
Anyway, how are you people? I hope you have a wonderful new year because mine obviously sucks. Stay healthy okay.

These past two months have been unimaginable. Good and bad things happen and I feel so unprepared for life I guess. But I am very very grateful to God and everyone around me. I hope whatever you are going through, you are blessed with the support system that you need.
On another note, my sister gifted me my 2022 planner which is hella cute and I can't wait to use it.

A simple journal spread to celebrate my completion of the Hawksmoor London churches tour. ⛪️ 🎉
Experimenting with some new ways to make journal pages; my work in design school has inspired me to try more things with collages and photography. I’m still playing with things on that end, but I did like how this turned out!
(My last journal spread was this one for the musical Assassins - I think I’ve learned a lot since then.)

25.10.21// done some phd research in the morning and practiced norwegian before classes :) During my break, i sat outside and read finnegans wake + some articles about it for my psychoanalysis seminar! i love the autumnal weather so much!!!!
also, some people asked under my previous posts why i’m actually learning norwegian - i actually started for fun when i was like 14 and then actually started to learning it more intensively because of my research project!

Just finish it yesterday hehehhe. I like how this turned out. Clean. Spacious. Simple.
I have mixed feelings for this October. It feels like probation time for many aspects of my life. Many spooky parts awaits but there are also opportunities.
I hope your October is as fun as crisp leaves in autumn.

put some cut outs from old journals up on the wall behind my desk to a) inspire myself and b) look cool on zoom :D
I somehow managed to get through a 35 hour work week while being a full time student and kinda stay on top of things, but I’m so relieved to have more time to devote to learning from now on. I missed being alone with my textbooks and studying for hours ☕️📚

one of my favourite places on earth is this little used bookstore on the corner of my street. they have an impressive selection of science and pop sci books that i’ve started to hoard. i should really start reading them 🍂📚
If you’re reading this, it’s too late. The positive vibes are already coming for you, get ready. You have no choice but to have a good day now.
