Stay With Me CH-5

THIRD PERSON'S POV

Y/N operates the Quinjet with ease and maneuvers it to the Raft Prison. The staff looks disturbed to see the Earth's mightiest heroes locked up in cages and screaming in pain as they float through the hallways with a purple glow encasing them.

"Pay up Fury, I told you I could capture them," Y/N said as she walked up to Fury.

"Fine here's 10 dollars," Fury says as he hands Y/N 10 dollars.

"What's with you saying my undercover name, I thought you hated it" Y/N snickered, a sly smirk playing on her face

"You do my work and I respect you," Fury hands Y/N a purple envelope with the Avengers logo on it "Which is why you are now an Avenger, this is your recruitment letter, Enjoy"

"Now, what do I do with them?" Y/N asked as the boxes floated around the room

"Release the mind spell and let them gain consciousness. I want to talk with them" Fury said settling down on one of the chairs near Tony's cage

"It's called Panic Room and I might put you in one if you say the name wrong again" Y/N Threatened as the boxes started levitating along with her and started following her movements, she opened her eyes and they were White and were emitting purple glow which caused Agent Hill and Agent Phil to be on defence positions

"Ask your people to stay down Fury, I am not a threat unless you make me one" Y/N said in a low voice as everyone dropped their guns.

Y/N muttered something under her breath and the boxes broke, the glass turned to thin air as the touched the ground and slowly the Avengers were kept on the floor. Their tactical gear shoved away from them and suddenly Y/N stuck to the ceiling as the rest awakened.

The first one up was the Maximoff siblings, turns out they never were in the Panic Room, they were just asleep on command.

Then next was Thor, Loki, Bruce, Steve, Bucky and Peter. After them, Tony, Natasha, Rhodes, and Sam stirred a bit to wake up but were still crying as if being tortured.

"Oh for the love of God wake up!" Y/N said, exasperated by how much time the three people took and snapped to wake them up. The four Avengers jerked awake and looked around in surprise to see their surroundings changed.

"Good evening Avengers, sorry if this seems inconvenient to you but this was a test for a fresh Avenger to see if she was worth being in the group and as you can see, she has succeeded," Fury said as some agents and medical help surrounded the Avengers to treat any kind of injuries and weakness.

"Y/N Maximoff?" Tony asked as he got to his feet.

"Yes, her mission was to bring all of you here on the Raft, without a scratch on their body and willingly. Honestly, this isn't what I had expected but it was still perfect" Fury said as a voice above him whispered, "Hi Everyone".

A girl dressed in Black and Purple slowly crawled down the walls of the Raft Prison and stood behind Fury

"Meet Y/N Maximoff, Who is also known as Amysthyst" Agent Hill said while sitting on a desk behind Steve.

Y/N 's Suit slowly glowed purple and she started looking like a young college girl and sat down on an empty spot on the couch next to Wanda.

"So you're Y/N, How did you copy my webs? It is nearly impossible to do so!" Peter whined, Y/N slowly walked over to Peter and looked straight into his eyes as a Purple ring replaced his pupils, he slowly closed his eyes and one tear slipped through his eyelashes, Y/N whispered in his ears "My work is done" and Blue glow encased him. A panicked Tony Stark rushed forward "Leave the Kid alone! " " Stark, I am not a threat unless you make me one. I had borrowed half his abilities, I'm giving them back with a bit of my own as an exchange" 

Peter slowly woke up and looked around, the rest were looking with awe. 

"W-what? Why are y'all looking at me like that?" Peter asked as Tony checked his vitals. "I don't know if it's possible but kid you just might have got an upgrade in your body's system" "Which means what?" Peter asked looking at his arms and legs to see if anything had changed but he felt like something was not of his own

"Whenever I or Pietro had asked, you said it was too dangerous! This isn't fair!" Wanda said exasperated 

"It only works for some certain power combinations, you and Perry are overpowered individuals, and most likely the new powers would try to kill you because it competing for the first preference of your body's defensive approach" Y/N rambled on 

"So people get glowy eyes after this or what?" Steve asked looking at Peter with worry

"Not exactly, You can get all kinds of things," Bruce said 

"Ah Dr. Banner, You seem to know quite a lot! I guess Fury told you." Y/N said 

"But really what can you do?" Tony asked 

"Quite a lot but this isn't the correct place to demonstrate my capabilities," Y/N said 

"We can take you back to the compound, 

Fury has already counted you as a new Avenger so we can give you your room, space to practice, whatever you need" Natasha said 

"Fury, can I take them upstairs?" Y/N asked, Fury nodded in response 

They proceeded upstairs on the roof of the Raft Prison. A raging storm was there but neither of them got drenched. Y/N had built up a defensive shield around the whole group "Listen Up, I can teleport but I will lose a lot of energy so we gotta fly" Y/N said while they passed the Quinjet 

"We won't use the Quinjet?" Natasha asked looking puzzled

"Nope, I have a ride for each of you," Y/N said and pulled out a lighter. She gave it a shake and it started glowing purple as a bunch of Wakandan Ships cornered in "You have two choices, Either fly with me or with King T'Challa and General Okoye" Y/N said as sparks began to build from the lighter's flame which slowly grew into a large and beautiful bird with vibrant plumage. Its feathers possessed a brilliant shimmer, appearing as if they are aflame. The bird's body was graceful and elegant, with shades of fiery red, orange, and gold reflecting off its body. It took everyone quite a lot of time but everyone backed out, except Peter. He was too stunned by the appearance of the bird that rose out of a flame.

"Parker! Get on quick! Blaze doesn't like to wait!" Y/N screamed as the Wakandan Ship flew off and T'Challa came on comms "What is taking th spider so long?" "I don't know but I don't care. He's coming with me" Y/N pulled Peter up and set him behind her on Blaze and flew off.

PETER POV

"But Mr Stark I am ready for missions! I can handle them well! Please let me go on the field!"

" Kid, just train for a bit we got a mission upcoming for you. Go on now Cap is waiting for you"

Ugh... training with Captain America... so boring whatever he makes me do is what I do on a daily and ALWAYS he will tell me his life stories which I have heard millions of times. Honestly, by now, I can write a whole book about him. I just don't have anyone who is like me...

"ATTENTION WE HAVE A BREACH, A GIRL HAS BEEN SPOTTED ON THE EASTERN WING TOP FLOOR AND SHE'S...SWINGING? I DON'T KNOW CAN SOMEONE GET TO HER?!" 

top floor? Yes! finally some action!

Peter activates his suit and swings over to the top floor and sees the girl fly off in a helicopter and jumps to hold her back but something comes in and chops off his webs and something is fired at Peter's hands and feet to bind them in place

"Holy Cow! What is that?! Is that my webbing?!"

"Hey Peter, I'm Sorry but I gotta impress Fury... Catch ya later"

"Kid move out, NOW! I'm going to blast her"

"I can't move Mr Stark! I'm bound"

"FRIDAY, Get peter in"

"YES BOSS"

great, now I will be inspected like a lab rat and then be interrogated 

but what even is that? it looks so much like my webbing... I have to ask Mr Stark. This is so close to my webbing. There can't be two spider-mans, Can they?

Natasha, Bruce, Steve, Tony and Clint walk into Peter's room to find him stuck to the ceiling, bound by some substance. He is quite clearly daydreaming as he isn't blinking but the whole thing is so freaky that the rest tense up. A worried Natasha starts poking him with one of Clint's arrows in an attempt to get him into consciousness.

"Hey! Peter! you there?" Natasha pokes Peter as she asks worriedly

"FRIDAY, get Wanda and her brother," Tony says before checking his vitals

"YES BOSS" FRIDAY replies instantly sending the message

"What do you want- WOAH... What's the Spider doing?!" Pietro says as he speeds in 

"Pietro, Get your sister," Clint says hooking himself to the ceiling

"Jeez Old man, wait I'll get her" Pietro replies before speeding out to get his sister

 "What went wrong now?" Wanda says as Pietro puts her down 

"Wanda, can you wake the kid up?" Bruce says trying to help Clint get him down 

"Give me a second..." Wanda replies before floating up to Peter

"Wake up..." she whispers

And just like that Peter's claws (the weird thing on his back, ima call them claws) open up as he jolts and the chaos settles

"yeah, I'm here... I'm alive" Peter says catching Clint before he hits the floor

"What was that kid?!" Clint asked worried about him

"Nothing... Just zoned out" Peter replied setting Clint down and retracting his suit

"That can't be nothing, and did you aim yourself? you got web everywhere" Steve said collecting some of the webs off Peter's body

"This isn't mine, it's that girl's, the one on the rooftop who got away..." Peter said taking a box from his table and putting the webs in there

"Is that possible? You said the spider that bit you died so how is it possible that there are two spider-mans or women?" Natasha asked

"I don't know but I have to run an analysis on the webbing to see its components cause' she didn't have any web shooters and she also knew what I was going to do next, it was almost like she had already seen what would be happening," Peter said pulling off his shirt that was also covered in the webs

"That is not possible... There are only two beings on this earth that can do that, The monks of Kamar Taj and me, there are no other known beings who can do that" Wanda said, confused

"Well then either she has very good intuition, is our stalker who studied us so well to understand each of our moves, is actually one copy of Wanda or is a runaway monk from Kamar Taj," Steve said unable to find anything believable

"Wow Cap, that's a lot of useful stuff coming from you," Tony said being sarcastic

"Can I have a lab to work in? and maybe some hours away from training..." Peter requested in hopes of having a peaceful space to work in

"of course Peter, but we will have FRIDAY supervise you," Bruce said giving Peter a fresh shirt from his closet

"Can Ned and MJ come over?" Peter asked

"Uh..." Bruce began before he was cut off by Tony

"Listen, kid, we can't risk having anyone of your friends over, if that girl is a threat she may have some potential hostage targets," Tony said being blunt 

"Can I have pop tarts?"Peter asked feeling hungry

"Yes that we can manage," Tony said 

"FRIDAY tell me which is the nearest convenience store that sells pop-tarts?"

"No need I got them while we were talking about them, I wanted a re-stock too," Pietro said dropping four bags full of Pop-tarts on the floor 

"How much do I owe you?" Peter asked getting his wallet from his table

"Nothing, consider this a gift," Pietro said speeding out to get coffee for himself

"All right kid, get some rest you'll get your lab tomorrow," Tony said before ushering everyone out of the room and closing the door behind him

Finally, some peace, is what is needed but I think what is more needed is a shower 

Peter got took a shower and changed into clean clothes before crashing into bed

After a few hours, he is again awoken by FRIDAY 

There is some disturbance again at the compound...

It's that girl...

Y/N'S POV

"Here, these are different trinkets that have an emotional attachment with each of the Avengers," Pietro said as he handed me a small packet of objects.

"Thanks, You want PopTarts?" I asked Pietro as a small smile crept on his face.

"My cousin knows me so well, but stop flexing your money we know you're rich," Pietro said crossing his arms over his chest.

"Now go show off to Fury, I want you on the team," Wanda said as she settled down on the grass.

" Sis you better help me with silencing them during the Panic Room and Pietro, you better help me with moving them in cages," I said as I floated to the Avengers.

"Maximoff, don't you dare harm anyone physically or maybe I'll have you sent to the Raft Prison" Fury's voice rang in Y/N's ear 

"Yeah yeah I remember, but you have seen the Panic Room. That is something I can't adjust to being a bit safer, no matter what" I said alerting him of the dangers.

"Now let's see how you will do that," Fury said as I heard a clicking of a gun behind him.

"Was that a gun? Too scared I might kill them?" I asked Sarcasm laced in my voice.

"Yes actually, this is so that you can be contained if you went rogue or if you were compromised," Fury said completely missing the sarcasm and adjusted the gun.

"Oh god, you need to learn to understand sarcasm," I said as I tackled the Avengers one by one.

Alright, Let's get the party started. 

I got to all the Avengers, slipping each one into a different Panic Room with different monsters of their making.

"Barton is married?!" I asked.

"What?! The Old man's married?!" Pietro asked equally shocked.

"Yeah, you didn't know?" Wanda questioned as she judged my and Pietro's behaviour.

"YOU DID?!" Both I and Pietro asked, completely shocked and questioning reality.

"Yeah I did," Wanda said being cool about the situation.

As I reached Peter, I started to feel weird sending him to the Panic Room but he shot a Taser web at me so I had to get him in the Panic Room to have him stop being hostile.

Why does that pain so much? I usually don't have problems with sending anyone to the Panic Room. Why is there a part of me dying to pull Peter out of the Room? Why does it hurt so much to send him in there and have him get emotionally tortured?

"Hey! Earth to Y/N?!" Pietro screamed snapping me out of my daze as Wanda stood next to me as attempted to read my thoughts.

"What did I say I would do if you even attempted to read my thoughts?" I asked Wanda as she backed away in fear.

"You said you would cause Vision more pain..." Wanda spoke out loud in fear of me causing pain to her loved one. 

"So, did you try?" I asked knowing well that Wanda would be too scared to even think.

"N-no" Wanda whimpered, I felt some pity for her so I offered her to be conscious for the whole trip to the Raft which she gladly accepted.

"What about me?" Pietro asked feeling insecure.

"Good you asked! next, it's your turn" I said as I bound him in one of the glass cages I had reinforced for the Avengers.

"What?! Why am I here?! Am I not supposed to be on your side?!!" Pietro said outraged.

"This is the only way I can join the Avengers, I wasn't picked up from the street, I had to fight my way in and I would be getting on pure talent and strength. Not like you and your sister, the only reason I don't turn on you is that at one point in my life, I played with you guys like you were my own kids. Even after your parents were killed I provided for you two" I said completely pissed off.

"You were the one who would send us monthly money?!" Wanda said, surprised.

"Yes, I did! if you cared to read any of the letters I would send with them you would have known I was alive and this wasn't some charity" I spat out as I locked Wanda in one of the glass cages.

"We never got any letters..." Pietro trailed off realising that maybe a lot of their letters were intercepted and messed around with.

"Yeah, Strucker would take out the letters and try to make you feel worse so he could record emotions." I deadpanned before stealing the Quinjet and loading each one of the Avengers into their specific cages and setting off for the Raft.

"Good Job Amysthyst, Now be quick and prove yourself at the Rendevous point," Fury said as he saw the Quinjet take off.

"Of course Sir, I should be reaching in six hours" I replied back getting on the course.

"And I have brought quite a collection of people"
