5 years ago if you were to tell me I'd be buying and wearing makeup I'd be fucking levied. But now I like it!
Makeup is fun when you don't follow trends, and it's authentic to yourself. For me, it's playful, and I take inspiration from films and characters I enjoy.
When I was younger, I didn't see it that way. My mother would never allow me to play with it or get creative. As a teen, the makeup styles and trends at the time just did not appeal to me at all.
I bought the NYX × Beetlejuice color palette, and reading the information, it says 3 of the colors are not to be used on or around the eyes. I've been watching videos from people who use it on their eyes. Is that okay??? I'm not an avid makeup user. I'm not very knowledgeable about it.
I'm looking forward to wearing what I bought later when I can.

I got the results of my pap smear. I'm good, but I was told my cells are "unusual," so I need to get more frequent pap smears to keep an eye on that. What angers me is my mom's reaction to the news. Her paranoia abut how wrong it is for me to get checked because I'm a virgin and I don't need it. "How are your cells unusual if you're a virgin?"
I like to headcanon that Bruce Wayne had a British accent as a kid/teen because of Alfred raising him. But he lost it when he became an adult. Maybe he code switches, or sometimes he pronounces certain words the English way unconsciously.
