Imagine: Tickle Traps

(In time for Halloween)

Imagine SAW like traps meant to torture but with tickles. The only screams these machines cause are screams of laughter.

Imagine being placed in a straight jacket. While you fumble to get it off, you realise that all along the inside are soft spinny bristles. Whirling away against your sides. Finding their way between your ribs. You lay against the ground to try and take off this jacket but all that does it push the brushes against your ribs and increases those sensations. Keep fighting! You’ll get it off soon. It tickles though, doesn’t it? Feeling those bristles tickle every inch of your sides. You’re allowed to laugh so don’t bother fighting it.

Imagine being trapped in a room. The only way out is through a hole in the top corner. And the only way to it is by using monkey bars along the roof. Easy right? It would be if it wasn’t for those thin feathers reaching over and twirling around your armpits. There’s no way to protect yourself without letting go, you’ll just have to fight against it. Fight against those soft feathers that dance around the hollows of your armpits. That’s it, keep going. You’re almost there. Just ignore those teasing feathers. Round and round and round they go. Don’t they just feel like the softest feathers ever?

Imagine a third room. Much smaller than the others with no obvious exit. There’s a hole though. Just as you attempt to slip your hand into it, it starts to close and you notice the sign “bare foot only” . Sighing, you slip off your shoe and sock and put your foot in the hole. This is easy, just keep your foot on the pressure switch. Oh, but there’s feather dusters in this one. That’s it, keep your foot still as that duster strokes your tender sole. Can’t you feel those feathers slip between your toes? Don’t go moving your foot away just yet! I know those soft strokes over all your foot have you howling with laughter but it’ll all be over soon. In a minute or so anyway.
