i hope when jon comes back from the dead he’s just human version of ghost. really quiet like eerily quiet. and just kind of stands there and stares at people like he’s even confused why he’s there. ALSO crossing my fingers the battle of the bastards still happens in the books. i want jon and ghost to gang up on ramsay SOOO bad.

After seeing several posts about winter roses being used in fanart for Sansa and Arya and how winter roses represent Stark maidens (once again used for Sansa and Arya), I decided to see just how true that was, using a search of ice and fire for 'winter rose', 'blue rose' and 'blue flower'

The only time winter roses are mentioned is in relation to Lyanna and when Ygritte tells the 'song of the winter rose' to Jon. Blue flowers (meaning a winter rose) are only mentioned in Dany's HoU vision.

So Sansa and Arya (an indeed Stark maidens generally) have nothing to do with winter roses or blue flowers in general. Winter roses are a specific thing for Lyanna and by extension her son Jon Snow, who is the only character appearing in the main series who is represented by winter roses.

But as I have learnt shippers will see what they want to see.

Taking everything away from Jon's arc and making it about other people is a trend with shippers and how they treat Jon.

I hate how TB thinks it’s okay for Visery’s to be an shitty father, as long as it isn’t to their sweet Rhaenyra. If roles were reversed and Visery’s abandoned her in favour of his new family and maybe one of her son’s eyes was taken by Aemond and he stuck up for Aemond’s and ignored the lifetime injury on rhaenyras son then you know that they’d be on his ass and Aemond’s. It’s like they don’t think child abandonment is trauma…

He is literally a shitty father to EVERYONE if you think about it really. He might’ve loved Rhaenyra but he never really cared that much about what would actually happen to her after he dies. He never taught her anything about ruling, never prepared her for the responsibility, etc.
