I think it's a lot easier for modern people to imagine that Jesus is always with us..

Because so many things are always with us now. Pretty much anywhere in the world, you still have the same internet, you can still log into tumblr 'unto the ends of the earth'.

So in the same way, we can access God's love and companionship regardless of our physical location

Christianity isn't about having to go to church or not lie etc. It's about knowing and loving God. When you truly know God in your heart, you want to be truthful. You want to go to church (well, depending on the church). When you know God, you learn of the joy of following him :)

And it's about a journey of accepting when you do lie or not spend time with God, and being loved and accepted by God regardless of our flaws.

"Sin is deadly, its monstrous. You need to fear it. You need to run from it."

-Paul Washer

The idea of telling people 'this is sin stop it!' is so alien in our world.

But it is so needed.

It is not loving to let people continue in sin that destroys them! God loves you! He does not forbid you from doing anything that would help you!

Satan comes to kill steal and destroy. Sin is giving in to him. It is not out of judgement or hatred that I tell you to flee from sin, it is out of great love and compassion!

Obsessed with how 'Jesus of Nazareth' at the time would have been like 'Jesus of Peterborough' it was not a good neighbourhood lmao
