I’m reposting all of my arrangements to my music blog to get them all in one place. This one is an audio transcription of one of the background pieces to the first NDS game.

Audio transcription of the Festival W soundtrack from the TinkerBell Nintendo DS game.

What struck me most in this piece – and became the reason I transcribed it – is the Molldur moment in the main melody (when it momentarily switches from major to minor), it’s a simple yet effective way of harmonically spicing up the relatively plain melody.
