#CONSCIOUSCONSUMPTION #Day2 #Part2 Today I researched #technoshamanism and found a #scifi aesthetic (with #Afrofuturist #cyberpunk potential) and a philosophy that integrates technology into a view of an enlightened modernity (as opposed to a nihilist one). Of course I ran into raver culture so I listened to some #psytrance and learned about #goa (s). Visually it led me to the #Shipibo (Amazonian tribe) embroidery which look like electrical circuits and are said to be maps or scores of their icaros (hmmm Icarus…) or sacred songs. Their millennia of experience with Ayahuasca (#psychonauts) led me to scientific research on #entheogen, and especially a worthwhile meditation how its played role on religion and our perception of #reality. I’ve been pivoting into tech for the past two years and have been curious about how and if technology can be meaningfully integrated with spirituality. This answered some questions about multimedia installations in environment design and expanded some ideas I’ve been forming about #sacredtechnology.
