And here’s a patreon commission, where I was asked to draw Angelo at the beach. It’s still winter here on Northern hemisphere, but I don’t mind getting into summer mood early, haha.

I chose to show the back side of the beach here, so I could concept the wall and stairs leading to the beach from the city, right from the cafe Dishbowl (so we can have beach episodes easily, haha)

Also, I drew Angelo’s eyes under those sunglasses, and I left the opacity at 99%.

She giggled as she kept inking the turf around her. Sneaking past to Tabitha's base, she let out a quiet 'booyah.' As she and one of her teammates began claiming the yellow teams base for their own, splatting anyone that tried to stop them. "Maybe.. Juuust maybe.."

Nonet shook her head with an amused smile as she threw out a suction bomb. “Gotcha.” Suddenly, her tentacles seemed to light up as her bomb detonated nearby. “Oh? My special is ready?” She grinned as she super jumped back to her spawnpoint. Activating her special, she targeted the entirety of Tabitha’s team at once. The joys of special power up, right? “Time for tentamissiles!~” With a pull of the trigger, multiple missiles shot out of the shoulder mounted launchers and flew towards Tabitha and her teammates.

Obviously she knew Tabitba herself wasn’t going to be affected by the missiles as she raced back out covering as much turf as she possibly could with her slosher and suction bombs before the clock ran out, even though she knew it was a lost cause. No harm in trying, though!

Tabitha flinched before remembering her shield.

“Oh right, forgot about my shield.”  She started inking turf again just so she could maintain her lead

"Yeah, that makes sense." She chuckled. "Hmm?..Not exactly. I didnt just leave. No sanitized soldier can simply leave the metro as they please. We're forbidden to leave the metro.. Actually i dont think we even have the mindset to even consider leaving, or anything other than obeying orders.. Most sanitized are mindless zombie..slave..THINGS, if im being frank." Nonet shuddered. "It wasnt until my baby brother saved inkopolis from an inky sanitized doom at the hands of the commanders genocide cannon that i was able to leave, as my mind control was somehow broken the moment Pearl blew up the statue with her killer wail. After that, I joined up with Marina, Pearl and Eight as they traveled back to inkopolis, soo.."

“..Y-yea, i am an actual sanitized octoling. I used to be a test subject for the kamabo corporation with my baby brother, but i got taken out..” She scratched the back of her neck nervously and fooled with her ponytail. “I know its a shocker to see a sanitized octoling here, but i haven’t found a way to reverse the effects of the sanitization serum yet and turn myself back to normal..”

Nonet sighed and set her slosher by her feet. Seems she wouldn’t need to use it right this minute. “I have to ask though. How on earth did you manage to ink so much turf so quickly? Surely a modified weapon of that caliber wouldn’t go unnoticed by the judges!”

“Shell if I know, I guess Judd and Li’l Judd don’t get paid enough to deal with hackers like me.”

“So you just, left the metro? You sure have more going on upstairs than I’ve seen from other sanitized I’ve seen…”

Nonet smiled, altough that smile quickly turned into an expression of confusion and curiosity. "That..actually makes alot of sense..but that begs the question.. Have we been lied to? All this time, believing our mem cakes had been destroyed, never to be seen again, and they could have just been decoys?" She furrowed her eyebrows together in thought. "It could be exclusive to your world, but at the same time, it could be here too. In fact theres a very high chance its here too. As ive been told, every time the commander called 216 into his office for whatever reason, she saw a vault behind him that he never let her go into. Or anyone else into for that matter. Only he could access that vault. Anyone else was strictly forbidden entry. He was..quite protective of whatever was in there. That could very well be where everyones mem cakes are stored!" Her neon blue pupils seemed to sparkle with excitement. "Haaaa!~ ive got to gather up my friends and investigate this as soon as i can!" The little soldier bounced on her toes excitedly as she took her notebook back out and started writing in it, an excited, hopeful grin stretching from one ear to the other.

she smiled a little, scratching her cheek. “I’ll look into that. A service animal sounds nice.”

Hearing Tabitha ask her name, she immediately blushed. “Ah! Sorry! I’m Nonet. Failed test subject and former head technician of the Deepsea Metro. Ive.. only just recently remembered my name after looking through the metros records of all the technicians that have come and gone.” “Most sanitized do suffer from memory loss, but if they discover previous records of before they were sanitized, they’ll recall not just their names, but the brainwashing effect will break as well, as they’ll regain all their memories. However that works. Most sanitized soldiers have their mem cakes destroyed.”

“I’m Tabitha! Nice to meet you!” That comment on the memcakes really rubbed her the wrong way, she had to speak up on that one.

“From my research on Kamabo Co.’s workings that statement is false, the commander actually keeps all the memcakes in a secret vault in the NILS Statue’s head. The reason they are kept is to remind him of all the lives he’d taken in his quest to make his perfect world, so their sacrifice would never be forgotten and to prove they were once people. Perhaps the ones you saw being destroyed were decoys, why bother looking for your memories if you think they’ve been destroyed?”

She sighs.

“It could just be a thing exclusive to my world but I can hope can’t I? I think it’d be worth investigating just to be safe, if there is just a sliver of a chance they can reclaim their memories I say to take it.”

Nonet gasped as she snapped out of her daze. "Hwa?! Ah.. Its just you.." She was speaking octarian too. "Sorry I uh.. Got caught up in memories from the past." She sighed, rubbing the back of her neck. "Thank god you snapped me out of it.. It was getting..very scary. Very fast." The young octoling sighed as she took a couple of deep breaths to calm her racing hearts.

That made the two flinch. They shared a shocked look, before they saw Nonet just standing there, her smile still present. She seemed to be deep in thought.. She was completely zoned out. “I..is she okay??” The roller asked, motioning to the sanitized octoling.

Nonet was quietly reliving some of her memories from her time as a test subject. Her eyes seemed to faintly glow as she just stared absently at a wall in front of her. Two blue dots on the wall were the only way someone could tell they were glowing. “They..so familiar..why do..deja vu..” Her speech was slightly slurred and broken, as if she had forgotten how to speak Inklish properly.

Tabitha mutters something in Chinese before jumping over to where Nonet what.

“Uh, are you okay there Nonet?” Worth noting that Tabitha said that in fluent octarian, a bit odd for an inkling to even have the correct accent too.
