ASPD Cal hcs (its real guys...!)

When he isn't acting out of impulse (or when he isn't with andre lmfao), cal suffers from chronic bordem. Nothing entertains him at all. Whenever he gets bored, he goes out and shoplifts (shoplifting cal REAL)

cal likes to mess with rachel. not in a serious manipulating way, more just telling white lies and making up harmless shit and she believes it....most of the time (sometimes he'll say some outrageous shit and rachel will call him out 😭)

although as zero day does get closer, he hints at it and makes jokes (see previous post about the graveyard scene) rachel - who's used to cals jokes and lies and shit, passes it off as cal just being cal. she'll look back on this after zero day

cal is scarily good at lying and manipulating...most of the time. he can make you believe anything, until he gets too into it. He'll start saying some absolutely unbelievable shit that would make anyone turned off

cal SUCKS in social situations (example: the prom limo scene). he tries to make what he thinks are "normal" jokes but they really arent and everyone looks at him weird. when he's alone he thinks about it and gets pissed

related to the previous one, he isnt the best at masking. he tries his best to emulate rachel and other peoples behaviors but he fails most of the time. he finds trying to act normal "boring" and acts more on his own ideas and impulses

when cal was younger, he had an issue with setting things on fire. his parents had to take away all of his own lighters and hide the candle lighters on top of the fridge.

cal was diagnosed with a conduct disorder when he was 12 after being sent away to the psych ward

cal doesn't mask around andre cause he knows andre is as fucked up as him - he feels comfortable enough around him to just be himself, even if it makes andre pissed sometimes (poem scene)

cal gets obsessed with his exceptions,....he's only had one so far though

andre is cals exception. cal can feel a small amount of empathy for him, but its better than nothing.

cal is obsessed with andre. not in a cringe yandere way, but in a "i wanna live in your skin" kinda way. andre fucks with this heavily

Autistic Cal Headcanons

- it took a while for cal to be diagnosed with autism because his parents and the doctors blamed a lot of it on his adhd.

- cal has never been able to handle haircuts. they overwhelm him immediately. when he was little, his parents would try to take him to a salon, but now his mom just cuts his hair whenever it gets a bit too messy.

- the shirts cal wears are all soft and have the tags cut out of them. the shirts that he deems are a bit too scratchy are always worn with long sleeves underneath them (ex: the orange shirt he wears in the home gun review scene.)

- cal ties his converse really tight and hates wearing long socks. he gets blisters from wearing ankle socks with his high tops.

- cal can’t stand strong smells. whenever his parents burns a candle that’s a little to pungent or his mom puts on one too many sprays of perfume, he won’t get close to the source of the smell.

- cal hates things touching him when he’s overstimulated. while andre likes pressure and weight on him, cal can’t stand it. an example of this is in the camping scene when cal is rubbing his eyes and pushes his sister off of him.

- cal has always walked on the top of his feet. his parents didn’t worry at first because he wasn’t on his tiptoes but started worrying as he got older. the walking would cause problems for his feet, causing him to go to physical therapy.

- cal repeats sentences and sounds over and over. they can be from movies, books, or real life.

- cal goes mute at times. it confuses a lot of people because he’ll go from repeating things and talking a lot to simply not speaking at all. his silence has gotten him into a lot of trouble sometimes from people who don’t understand.

- at prom, cal spent most of the time outside of the school. rachel’s friends would come find him and bring him back in, but he’d sneak back out every time.

- cal walks away from conversations that don’t revolve around things he really cares about. he does it to everyone, even his family, rachel, and andre.

- cal infodumps often. andre and rachel are the only people that make cal feel listened to.

T4T Caldre Headcanons (FTM)

- Andre came out when he was thirteen. Cal came out when he was fifteen.

- Andre started T when he was sixteen. Cal started a couple weeks after his seventeenth birthday.

- For a while, they both injected T. Now, Andre uses gel and only Cal injects it.

- Andre always wore his older brother’s clothes growing up. His family never really made him wear dresses unless it was a religious holiday.

- Cal was hyper feminine when he was younger. He constantly got his mom to do his makeup, wore dresses whenever he could, and was the girliest girl ever.

- They both knew something was wrong when they were younger but they dealt with it in different ways. Andre faced it head on. Cal hid it.

- Andre’s dysphoria outfit is a sweatshirt he got from Germany and a pair of baggy basketball shorts. Cal’s dysphoria outfit is a big Nirvana shirt and a pair of his dad’s old pajama pants. (Dysphoria outfits are basically what someone wears to make themselves more comfortable when dysphoria is really bad.)

- Andre has a bigger chest than Cal. Andre wears multiple sports bras at a time when his binder is being washed; he never goes without binding in some way. Cal evenly divides his days between not binding and wearing his binder.

- Cal’s mom cuts his hair. Every time he gets a professional to do it, it always comes out looking really feminine.

- When Andre first came out, he got a buzz cut. He started to grow it out in freshman year.

- The boys share clothes constantly. Their wardrobes are basically combined.

- Cal has really bad voice dysphoria. There are days where he simply doesn’t talk.

- Andre works out a ton, even before he joined track. He wanted to gain muscle and get wider shoulders and bigger arms.

- Both boys open up to each other about dysphoria and feeling inadequate. They talk more to each other about it than they do to their parents or their therapists.
