kill the idea that openly caring characters are boring
set on fire the line of thought that dictates that altruism is a bad thing and that selfishness/sassiness is an inherently more appealing and ‘~intricate~’ quality than an affectionate nature
smash and bury the concept of the false equivalency between angst and complexity
kindness and empathy are not synonyms for “blandness” and “lack of personality”
had an idea that would be useful for systems that I’m not gonna finalize yet but just hear me out
not technically tone indicators, but to be used like them:
/hs to indicate “in headspace” (or /iw to indicate “in innerworld”)
/ph to indicate “physical” (as in “I am physically doing this”)
that way you could easily communicate which way you mean something! like “I worked on the garden today /hs” or “we got a new haircut /ph” or something like that. there’s probably already something similar but it seems like it would be really useful? idk we will polish it tomorrow

Imagine how you might feel if your wildest and most wonderful fantasies were brought to life. That’s probably how a child would feel if their drawings of strange and wondrous characters were turned into real-life plush toys, which is exactly what Budsies does.
Budsies takes children’s drawings and reinterprets them as 16-inch-tall hypoallergenic plush toys – but they’ll take playful adults’ drawings, too.
