Posted this on my Instagram, but I figured I should give my Tumblr a shot, so here’s my first official post!

I feel like modern Dutch loves conspiracy,

Like he is constantly reading articles about Big Pharma (though I believe that’s real) and then going on rants to Hosea (daily) and the rest of his family (when they visit) about it.

He also loves watching those true crime documentaries or the Forensic Files series right before he sleeps and then wakes himself (and Hosea) up, and then panic calls Arthur/John/Tilly at 3:00AM to make sure them and their kids are still alive.

(He’s just a worried dad with a strange hobby/hyperfixation guys)

One of my favorite Headcannons, of many, I have for Dutch and Hosea is that they still take things from each other, even after all these years, just as a little playful gesture to keep each other on their toes, a reminder that; “you’re stuck with me, just remember I’m just as a devious of a bastard as you” sort of thing. Like I can imagine: Dutch looking everywhere and I mean EVERYWHERE for his gold chained pocket watch and dangling charm for his vest that he SWORE he left on his bedside table, ripping apart his tent and others trying to find it, when Hosea comes up to him all smug, saying: “this it?” Pulling it out of his pocket, leaving Dutch flushed, yet impressed.

I feel like everyone making a Modern AU of RDR LOOOVES to make sure Issac is alive (which I love too I want to see Issac) but EVERYONE forgets about John’s daughter who died too :( like what about her? Can’t she live too? What would yall name her? I wanna know 🙏🙏

YESS DUDE OMG she’d be such a daddy’s girl (just like how Jack is a momma’s boy) and I feel like if she survived the cannon timeline she would actually be interested in the herding, hunting, fishing, and gunslinging that John always tried to get Jack involved in. Their relationship would probably be a lot like Bonnie’s relationship with her dad lol (he’s stern and protective of her)
