We Were Reading The Book Boys In The Boatby Daniel James Brown In Class, And Because I Had Just Gotten

We were reading the book Boys in the Boat by Daniel James Brown in class, and because I had just gotten into sports animes, I kept trying to imagine how the book would play out as an anime. Except, since it’s nonfiction, I had to make up my own details for the lives of the other boys and the ways they interact, and I had to add in some of my own dialogue.

I know I said “good 4 u” was at my ex best friend, but I don’t really associate it with her, because my little brother introduced me to it in the same hour that I started reading Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo and I always think of Kaz and Inej because of it. Good times.

I mostly just want to go to sleep. Also to watch Legally Blonde, but mostly to go to sleep.

My friend wasn’t texting me back for three days when she usually only takes two hours at most, so I was getting worried about her and kind of low-key figured well maybe she got tired of you, but then she got in touch and told me that her phone wasn’t working and that she didn’t want me to worry, and then she said that she missed me because she wasn’t able to respond to my texts, and that just made me smile a lot.

Edit: It turns out she wasn’t getting my texts at all, BUT THE POINT STILL STANDS SHE WAS STILL MISSING ME AND I STARTED MISSING HER TOO

My friend and I were talking about lunch and what snacks we wanted, and I asked if she was allergic to anything. She said “cats” and tbh that was a rather horrifying moment before I realised she didn’t mean for eating.

I realised the other day that I have yet to find a pair of shoes that I genuinely find cute. I have seen some cool shoes, and some old shoes, but none of them have ever been ugly, and none have ever been cute.
