My phone got cracked today so I'll be using my old one for awhile
me: *deletes fucking everything off my phone*
phone: your storage is almost full
When you delete things off of a mobile device (like a phone or digital camera), the file goes to your phone’s recycle bin (just like on a desktop computer or laptop), typically an invisible folder named .trashes or .trash. There, it continues to take up the same amount of memory storage as it did before you ‘deleted’ it. To empty your mobile device’s recycling bin, plug your phone into your desktop or laptop via USB as a memory device, right click on your desktop/laptop’s recycling bin/trash, and tell it to empty your recycling bin/empty trash. Your computer will empty all .trash/.trashes folders, including the one on your phone, actually deleting the files permanently this time, freeing up your phone/camera’s memory space. Reblog to save a life.
(I know this works on MAC with my Andriod, it’s not too far a stretch to do the same on Windows and/or with other phones as well. In fact, it should be easier to do on Windows since Windows Explorer is more conducive to finding hidden folders.)
Today, I learned a valuable lesson. Never wait to order your wigs. I waited until I had a month to the con. And look what happened. Arda didn't have one of the wigs I needed in stock, either in the color I needed or a color that would have been an acceptable substitute. They also didn't have any wigs in stock that were the right color and a similar style (there were four others that could have worked, but all of the reds were out of stock). So I had to resort to getting the right color in a style that they actually had and I'll have to cut and style it myself. Damn it. (They at least had the other one I needed in the right color, so there's that.) And the micro SD card in my phone bit the dust. My phone hasn't been working right the last few days and completely stopped working yesterday until I pulled the card (which I suspected was the problem when none of the apps, pictures, or music stored on it would load before everything froze up). Fortunately, I was able to pull almost everything off the bad card but I still lost some stuff T_T (and all this after attempting a factory reset to see if that would fix the problem, so now all my phone settings are wrong DX) So another lesson learned: back up the card periodically. And save the factory resetting for AFTER you've attempted absolutely everything.
I get really excited when I get a call from someone unexpectedly, but it's usually just them butt-dialing me.
My friend wasn’t texting me back for three days when she usually only takes two hours at most, so I was getting worried about her and kind of low-key figured well maybe she got tired of you, but then she got in touch and told me that her phone wasn’t working and that she didn’t want me to worry, and then she said that she missed me because she wasn’t able to respond to my texts, and that just made me smile a lot.
Edit: It turns out she wasn’t getting my texts at all, BUT THE POINT STILL STANDS SHE WAS STILL MISSING ME AND I STARTED MISSING HER TOO
