Shouto frowns, the crease between his brows reminding Enji of his own permanent scowl before he started dating Toshi. Maybe he should do something before Shouto grows into another sad repressed man.

“I won’t hurt you, Shouto,” Enji hurries to assure. “Not anymore. Not… not intentionally anyway.”

Shouto snorts, and the crease smoothes out. “Like hell can you hurt me anymore. I’d freeze your ass to the floor and be out of here before you could say ‘watch me.’”

Instead of gasping and being appalled at the attitude, Enji smiles. “That’s great, Shouto.”
