Non-idol! Hoseok x Reader: Saddle

A/n: I hold this one close to my heart for a few reasons. I'm sad that I am not as bold as I wrote this OC and may be I will never be in this situation. But I hope you like it.

Summary: Being a stable boy Hoseok knows "his limits". But, Y/n doesn't believe in such stuff, if she likes someone she'll act on it. How long can Hoseok ignore Y/n?

"Hoseok! Hoseok!" You called out.

"Yes, ma'am?" he stepped out of the stable.

"Get my horse and yours" you said with a smile.

"It's night time ma'am" he said, hesitating

"And? We are going for a ride, the moon is so beautiful today. Let's go" you said.

"Okay ma'am" he said and went inside and brought out your brown horse and his black one. He helped you to mount it after putting on a saddle.

"Follow me" you said and rode away with Hoseok following you looking around to make sure there are no possible threats on the way. The night was indeed beautiful and you slowed down your horse to match pace and steps with Hoseok's.

"It's a beautiful night, it's more beautiful to spend it with you" you said, but Hoseok just looked afar, not even looking at you.

It's been like this for the past year since Hoseok started working at your stables. You took an instant liking towards him. Two months of warming up and you started dropping hints, but he never caught on to them. So you decided to be a bit more upfront. You're parents hardly stayed home anyway. Your father being a Duke and a close advisor of the king was always away and your mother was busy in meetings and parties with other noble ladies. You were left alone with the maids and your little brother Jimin. So nobody really stopped you, when you starred at Hoseok without any intention to look elsewhere even after he caught you starring multiple times, neither did anybody witness the way your hand would linger a bit longer when he helped you mount or unmount your horse. Or all those times when you leaned in close to his face to speak to him, so close that Hoseok could feel for breath fanning over his lips, his breath intertwining with yours. Well, nobody but Hoseok, who seemed to freeze initially, but never reacted to your advances, what you never knew was that it took every once of his self control to not react to how you drove him crazy.

You had once asked him "Hoseok, are you married?"

"No ma'am" he answered

"Spoken for?" You asked to dig more.

"No ma'am" he answered yet again.

"Can you not call me Ma'am?"

"Should I call you My Lady then? Ma'am?"

"No, just stick to ma'am" you deadpanned and walked away. What you didn't notice was the way he looked away and smiled to himself, finding your annoyance very cute.

You always found it strange as to why a young man didn't even bat his eye leads at the level of flirting that you did with him. Did he really not like you? You thought at times and cried to yourself about it. All your life, you've only wanted to be loved, growing up friendless and ignored by parents untill they wanted you to meet some nobility only made you crave for love more and more. So when you met Hoseok and the way he was with you from the start, so soft and wordlessly going possible extra miles for you, even the ones that he could have easily evaded. Yes, because he wasn't obliged to bring you a croissant or donut of your favourite flavour just because you told him you were craving it. Or take you to rides are such odds hours like he was taking you now. Even though he never responded to your advances you felt like this was his way of portraying that he cared.

Small incidents like when he's brushing the horses and your simply standing at the balcony and he looks up and your eyes connect and he'd return your smile with a little smile from him. Or the random moments when your eyes met and he'd just quirked his eyebrows to which you winked before he'd break into a smile.

"No" you said firmly standing your ground.

"Y/n dear, we are not asking you!" Your mother said sternly.

"But, I said No!" You repeated.

"You will meet the Earl tomorrow and you will marry him when we decide that for you. As long as you are under this roof you will do as we say" your father said and left.

You broke into tears crying, you didn't know what to do, you can't just meet someone and marry them, you wanted to marry someone you liked.

"What's wrong ma'am?" You suddenly heard the voice that you could identify with your eyes closed.

"Do you really not know?" You asked.

"Well the maids were gossiping" he said shrugging.

"I don't want to do this. I can't" you said wipping your eyes.

"But why?" He asked

"Because when I marry I want it to be out of love and I don't even know this Earl, I can't just marry him!" You said "Beside you know that I only-"

"Why don't you meet him" Hoseok said, not letting you complete "maam"

"What?"

"Ma'am, this what you feel for me is just a phase and may be the Earl is what you needed to-"

"Yeah, you're right" this was your turn to cut him off. You simply got up and left to your room to cry your heart out. So, this is what he felt? Nothing?! You couldn't help it that night, you hugged your pillow tight and cried, let all your pain out. All this time you thought he felt something, and you were wrong. You could feel the ache in your heart and there was nothing you could do about it but to cry it out.

Hoseok thought he did great, that this is what was supposed to happen. Because, you were like a forbidden dream to him one he couldn't even think of dreaming. He tried his best to hold his composer with your not-so-subtle flirting, he tried to smile your glances off. He'd always avoid eye contact if you ever corner him to talk to him, or tell him something. But, these were all an act on the exterior and he could barely keep that up.

He however, took pleasure in running your errands, bringing you your favourite cake or donut, or chocolate from the town, taking you to rides. But that was all to it. And this was his chance to give you the chance you needed, to get a better life. No matter how much he loved you, he had to let you go for your sake. So he did it, he requested you to meet the Earl your parents wanted you to marry. An Earl, someone you belong with, not with someone like him, you couldn't, he couldn't.

"It's a pleasure to meet you Earl" you said, in the perfect manner as you were always trained since you were a child.

"The pleasure is all mine" he said as he kissed the back of your hand in a courtesy manner. As you gave him a very practiced shy smile.

As you were greeting each other, Hoseok could see from afar, how out of the place you seemed to be and how fake each and every smile was. Did his heart just swell a little to think that you always smiled open and wide around him?

That was when Hoseok was summoned and told that he was to accompany you and the Earl to a trip to the town. Hoseok brought out your, his and the Earl's horse, when your mother spoke out "Why would you bring three horses? Y/n can just travel with the Earl that would be easier, if he has no problem. Do you Taehyung?"

"No, not at all" he smiled. Hoseok went to the horse to help you mount it but the Earl or Taehyung beat him to it and helped you climb up his white horse, poetic right?

As the horses went at a slow pace and Hoseok followed Taehyung's horse, he watched as you pointed at various places and told him stuff that he of course could not hear. He also noticed how Taehyung whishpered something into your ear and you gave him a shy smile, well a fake shy smile, but that made his heart ache.

You three reached the market and took a halt at the bakery and Taehyung once again, helped you down the horse instead of Hoseok. What Hoseok found really odd that you didn't glance at him. Not even once, not even for a fraction of second did you spare a glance towards Hoseok. 'Its for the better' he told himself, but he knew he was falling apart on the inside. He knew watching you with someone else would hurt, but he never knew it would hurt this much.

The two of you took a seat as Taehyung called out "Stable boy, get us two croissants" he said

"Hoseok" you said in a low voice, "He is called Hoseok"

"I'm so sorry Hoseok, please don't mind" Taehyung said correcting himself

"No, sir, It is fine" he said "Two croissants? But-"

"Two croissants, Hoseok" you said sternly, still not looking at him. And he did as he was told.

He followed you around the rest of the day as the Earl and you walked around the market, and around the estate.

Later, the evening Hoseok heard the maids talk about how Taehyung had asked your father the permission to court you. 'Of course he did, he'd be a bloody fool if he didn't', Hoseok thought.

He found you sitting on the swing at night, alone, he was about to walk past you, but that's when he noticed your tear stained face and red eyes, you were crying. In an instant all resolves he made were blown away and he rushed to you.

"Ma'am?" He called out, you almost flinch and the suddenly call, but you never answered. But he knew you were listening to him.

"Ma'am, why are you crying?" He asked, earning an instant glare from you.

"You're the last person who should ask that don't you think? You must be happy that I met the Earl and now he will court me! My parents want me to marry the Earl! So, Thank you Hoseok!” with each word you stepped closer to him only to turn and walk away in the end. But, Hoseok held your wrist to stop you. You didn't know he could ever do that tbh, even he didn't.

"Why did you have rhe croissant when you hate it?" He asked

"That's what I have been taught my whole life, to take whatever is offered by a prospective suitor" you said.

"I didn't like it" he said.

"Yeah it was horrible" you said, looking away from him.

"I hated to see you with someone else" he took a pause before he said "Y/n"

Your eyes went wide in surprise as you looked at him.

"But, what can I do?" He asked, you noticed his eyes were glossy.

"Take me away" you said.

"I could, but I am just a stabble boy, no tittle and -" he went on but was interrupted by you.

"Whatever you are Hoseok, you are enough" you said, using your free hand to cup his cheek, as he leaned in to your touch, while he intertwined your fingers.

"Also I have a plan, more like half of it. But, where would we go?" You asked.

"I know someone who could help us, in the capital" Hoseok said "but what plan do you have?"

"You wont have to worry about that, Just be ready tomorrow, we leave as soon as mom does" you said and he nodded.

The whole night Hoseok could not sleep, was he doing something wrong? But, this would mean your happiness, can that really be wrong? Well, love isn't a crime, so this is going to work out.

"When you spoke about help in the capital I didn't think it would be in the palace" you whispered.

"Yeah and when you said you have a plan I didn't think you'd actually sell the new mares of the stable in double price" Hoseok whispered.

"I'm a good seller?" You said as you bowed st the passing lady.

"This way" he said as he knocked at a door and a voice was heard asking them to get in.

As soon as they entered Hoseok was heard to say "Jwaaaan" and the other man rushed to hug Hoseok calling him "Hobah"

Meanwhile, Y/n just stood there, too stunned to speak. This was nobody other than the Crowned Prince of Bangtania.

"Y/n, meet Kim Seokjin, we grew up together actually, my mother was the queen's handmaiden before my parents passed" he said.

"Your highness" you said bowing.

"Please don't bow, I'm not that high, and call me Jin, Jinnie, or Oppa" he said kissing the back of your hand

"Ahm" Hoseok cleared his throat.

"Sorry! Bad habit" Jin said laughing out, rather he was making windscreen wiper noises.

"Wait how is any of this useful?" You asked still confused

"I will give you immunity again the Duke of Seom, your dad and-" Prince Jin was interrupted by a knock and he shouted a "Who are you?"

"It's me" was heard the voice sounded vaguely familiar to you.

"Ah, come in" Jin said and the man that walked in almost froze your blood.

"E-e- earl?" You stuttered

"C'mon Lady Y/n I know you weren't interested but you couldn't even remember my name?" He said

You just looked at him still too stunned to speak, but what happened next shocked your whole mind out if you, the Earl walked up to the prince kissed his cheek and asked "You called for me babe?" And Jin simply slid his arm around Earl's waist and nodded.

Not just you even Hoseok was shocked at this exchange.

"But-but-you" you pointed at Taehyung looking like a lost puppy.

"It was all just for show. I knew you didn't like me a bit and I thought you'd reject me. I was actually thrown aback when your father said that you said yes. Actually, I dont swing that way, I have always rejected every woman but when I saw you, rather I saw your disinterest in me I planned to ask for your hand and get rejected so I can act a bit heart broken and get my family off my back for sometime" he said giving a boxy smile.

"Wow, you're smart" you said "I wasn't even asked before my father said yes to you"

"Figured" He said.

Hence, the four of you planned that Taehyung will help you hide for 4 days. Why 4? Because Jin was getting coronated in 4 days, he said he would personally conduct his bestfriend's marriage as only the king or a Priest can bind someone in holy matrimony. Additionally, even after alot of declination, Jin declared that he would dubb Hoseok and You Baron and Baroness of Armivile, the town area in the east of the kingdom, that would be his gift to the two of you.

And thus, with secrecy Earl Taehyung lead the two of you to his carriage after hiding your horses in the royal stables. You could see Hoseok was visibly worried "Hobi?" You called

"What did you call me?" He said, lips pressed in a heart shaped smile

"Hobi?" You repeated "Do you like it?"

"I love it, my mother used to call me that" he said. You intertwined your fingers and leaned your head on his shoulder and said "Its gonna be okay"

And just like that, the 4 days passed. On the 2nd day Taehyung had brought news that her father was searching the whole estate for you and Hoseok. Strangely, the plan worked and nobody suspected you to be at the Earl's house.

On the day of the coronation, Jin or King Seokjin, bound you and Hoseok into holy matrimony, well, he did have to escort your father and mother out with guards, but your brother was very happy for you. Your father had disowned you infront of the whole kingdom, but your brother promised that you would never loose each other.

"So? Baroness?" Hoseok said, his hair in a mess for just waking up, eyes still droopey from sleep. You shifted in you sheets and placed an open mouthed kiss on his beautiful lips. He grabbed your waist to get you on top of him when you winced and he asked in worry "Are you hurt? Was I too rough? Did I-" you shut him up with a kiss.

"I like it just the way it is. Okay. Now shut up and cuddle I dont wanna wake up just yet" you said and Hoseok gladly complied and hugged you from the back drawing circular patterns on your bare back, lulling you to sleep.

Prefect's duty with your Boyfriend

Hogwarts au! TxT x Reader

A/n: I am obsessed with Harry Potter and Kpop so I will schmooz them. Tzuyu from Twice and Yeosang from Ateez are the head girl and boy. The same year liners study in the same Hogwarts Year.

Soobin

"I hate this" you murmured and pouted "Did you say something Y/n?" Head Girl Tzuyu asked.

"Why the third floor? Its scary" you whispered to her

"Don't worry" Yeosang, the Head boy said, "I put you a partner" and winked, leaving you blushing as no other than your boyfriend walked to your side.

"Don't worry babe I'll protect you" Soobin said as he grabbed your hand and walked to the stairs. Navigating throught the changing stairs while talking about classes, when you reached the floor almost in sync the two of you pulled out your wands and chanted "Lumos", lighting up the ends of the wand as you made your rounds.

The fact that there were so many pictures in the corridor makes it more creepy but Soobin would hold your hand firmly through out the walk untill you reach to the stairs again. After making sure the whole floor is empty and okay the two of you walk back. Not before he steal a few kisses in the abandoned hallway though.

He would walk you to the dorm if you're from different houses or walk back to your dorm hand-in-hand.

Yeonjun

I bet he would be the one to ask for the two of you to be placed in the duty together, he'd go as far as bribing Yeosang with chicken he'd steal from the kitchen. Tzuyu would give you a knowing smirk as the two of you would walk away to do your duty.

Of course duty does come first and you'd take the round quickly before he shoves you inside one of the empty classrooms and picks you and sets you on the desk and stand between you legs for a hot makeout session. At times he'd bring chocolates he bought from his dorm but he'd made sure you would share.

Night patrol with this boy would always be like a little date. Being in the senior years it is difficult to always make time for each other but atleast this bit would be the time for just the two of you.

Yeonjun is the kind of prefect who would give any lurking student 3 chances. He'd leave them the first two times they are caught by warning, but a third time and they'd be reported to Headmistress Weasley immediately.

Beomgyu

He wont listen or move unless Tzuyu would simply give in and exchanges someone else to put him and you together. Being busy the whole day Beomgyu makes sure that he can get you all for himself to annoy the hell out of you.

Imagine walking through the hallways of 4th floor with your boyfriend talking to him and suddenly notice that Beomgyu is silent for too long, only to turn around and see that he's not there. In panic, you frantically looked around and increased your wand flare "Lumos maxima" you chanted and called for him "Gyu? Gyu? Beomgyu?"

Suddenly he appears from behind a pillar scaring the wits out of you and pushes his palm on your mouth to muffle your scream. He then realises how scared you were and a string of apologies and kisses would follow instantly.

However, patrolling with him was fun especially if you find any students lurking, it was so fun to watch Beomgyu interrogate the student as to why they were out of their dorms at such an "ungodly" hour.

Taehyun

This guy has subtle ways of showing various feelings and thus, he'd feel extremely jealous if you were put for the night patrol duties with any other prefect. So, he made sure to secretly tell Yeosang to pair him with you. While, you were more than happy to be able to spend more time with your boyfriend outside the study hall. Strolling through the hallways at night under the occasional moon lit passages is actually really nice.

The two of you talk about anything and everything, how he and Yeonjun wrote a new song about butter beer, or how you found this really good book in the senior section of the library. It almost felt like a date, holding hands. This is a time he looks forward to everyday to be able to spend time without the chaos he calls friends or other students

However, Taehyun gets really angry if this peaceful time was interrupted specially by any lurking student. If he found them may Merlin save them from his wrath because he will drag them to report them that instance and he'd make sure they are punished no matter what house.

Huening-Kai

He is a sweetheart like always, he'd primarily try to convince Yeosang and Tzuyu that you didn't need to patrol as you were tired, him being ready to take up double responsibility only for being shut by you. You both are a beloved power couple of your year and even the Head boy and girl appoint you to duties together. Huening-kai, would always make sure if you're okay, would ask if you're cold or warm. You find him so cute that can't help but just coo at him sometimes.

The two of you really enjoy these walks during the night as you love to explore the corridors. Or at times act like those muggle spies holding up imaginary guns in your hands. Other times you would walk around, randomly pressing kisses on one another.

Heuning-Kai is the kind of prefect to give 2 chances for any lurking students. He'd make them understand the first time. If he found them 2nd time then, he would personally take them to Yeosang and Tzuyu.

A/n: I was gonna write it in normal. But then I thought why not take this to a different AU. Here, whoever is born in the same year is in the same Hogwarts Year.

Summary: You have been getting anonymous notes, they are all signed by a venus flytrap flower, yeah strange. But what happens when you find senior Kim Namjoon using the same quality of scented parchment, however you noticed your portions partner Jeon Jungkook drawing the very same venus flytrap in his notebook.

You were in the study hall hurriedly writing into your DADA (Defence Against the Dark Arts) paper that's due soon when you find a paper swan perched on your book, it had your name on it. You looked around but didn't find anyone looking at you, Strange, Really strange, you thought, and went back to your assignment putting it inside your robe's pocket. It wasn't until you reached back your dorm and took off your robe when you remembered about it.

"What's that?" Jennie your roomate asked

"I don't know, it just came flying to me" you said sheepishly

"Oooh does Little Y/nie have a secret admirer?" Ryujin, your other roomate sung out

"Who has a secret admirer?" Sana asked as she entered your dorm room.

"Me, apparently" you said with a laugh.

You opened the yellow parchment with the scent of lavender, and read out loud.

Hey, you look really cute in those new glasses

The note was signed with a Venus Flytrap.

"A Venus Flytrap? That's a strange choice of flower" Jennie said from over your shoulder

"That's kinda a redflag?" Sana said and you shrugged and put it in your bedside drawer.

"Whatever, I have early morning astronomy. Let's go to sleep" you said.

"Aren't you curious?!" Ryujin asked climbing on your bed.

"I am, but I have no idea anyway so I wont work a sweat" you said, and climbed on your bed pushing her out.

And you received one of these notes everyday, all had something written about you, though the hand writing was a bit messy but the drawing of the venus flytrap was the same and so intricate and beautiful. You had even grown fond of those yellow scented parchment that Venus used. Yes, that's what you, your friends and roommates named it.

You and your friends were sitting in the courtyard and chatting during a free period when Ryujin came running out of nowhere and said "Quick Y/n come with me"

"Ryujin? What?!" You asked but she already pulled you with her.

"Didn't you have quidditch practice?" You asked

"We did, but the Slytherins tricked into getting this slot. But, that's not the point, on my way I was passing and you wont believe it I collided with Kim Namjoon" she said, still pulling you

"Senior Kim Namjoon?" You asked to make sure

"Yes, but that's not important, look" she said and it was then you noticed that you were near the black lake and there he sat Senior Kim Namjoon, scribbling away on a yellow parchment.

"So? That's just a yellow parchment"you said

"No. It smelt exactly like Venus'" she said.

"But, he can't draw. I know that as a fact" you said.

"Yes, but those are really costly parchments and rare so not a lot of people use them because you need to take a lot of care of them white writing" Ryujin informed and you nodded.

"It's not possible to be him" you said

"And how do you know that?!" Ryujin asked.

"I just know" you said and shook your head to walk back to your friends. But, it did make you think, so you made sure that you're aware of your surroundings all the time. But, you could find nothing. No spell could help you, so you realised that the sender really wanted to stay hidden.

Hence, one day you were going around in the library to search for a tracking spell when you saw a guy struggling with too many books, he almost dropped a huge heavy book on his foot, but you swiftly pulled out your wand and chanted: "Arresto momentum"

"Hah! Thanks!" The guy said with a deep voice and a boxy smile.

"You're welcome. That's sure a lot of books" you said grabbing the one in the air and a few more and helped him set them down on the table.

"It's Taehyung by the way" he said putting out his hand. You shook it and said "Y/n, yes I remember your name, we did a project together, last year". You watched as blood rushed to his cheeks. Cute, you thought.

You both were studying, at least you were while Taehyung seemed to be struggling.

"Anything wrong?" You asked

"Yeah, um... There are so many words together, it makes me sleepy" he said with a sheepish grin and your heart almost skipped a beat.

"Let me help you" You said and grabbed the book and pulled it, you started making drawings and teaching him. You could see Taehyung smiling and nodding.

"Wah, I did actually understand all this stuff. How do you even understand these, it's above your level?" he said in surprise.

"My mom is a herbologist, I've been around them for ages" you said.

"Y/n, you are really good at this. Would you mind helping me again?" He asked

"Sure, come find me by my dorm" you said and hurried down to your potions class, the last class of the day.

You entered the class just in time as Professor Mclagen entered. You smiled at your class partner and he reciprocated with a bunny smile.

Today's, assignment was to make a Draught of Living Death potion. You were in the middle of the class when a loud crash was heard followed by a couple of shreaks. You didn't even need to turn to know that Mingyu and BamBam had yet again messed up and their concoction was on the floor, burning Jihyo's shoes and who was now screaming at the pair. You were so busy laughing, you didn't notice your hand by chance hit the pile of your books on the table and they fell. You quickly picked them up, when you noticed something strange that hit you like lightning there you saw little bits of paper with the drawing of a venus flytrap, yes, exactly the one you get in the notes.

You immediately stood up grabbed your books and rushed out mumbling an emergency to the Professor leaving the whole class in awe.

Taehyung was very happy to have spent time with his crush. He knew how kind you were from that time a Senior-Junior partner up project the previous year. He was so surprised, (in a good way though) when you said that you remembered him. Even though he had no problem re-starting from scratch. He remembers when the two of you were first paired up and the more time he spent with you, the more he liked you. He bared it for 1 year until he decided to do something about it and thus he sent you anon notes. But, that wasn't enough for his heart and he can't just go up to you and tell you he has been sending you letters, so he wanted to talk to you, he was wondering why, when his clumsy ass gave him the chance. But, about the notes? Nobody knew, not Jimin, not even Jungkook who draws the Venus Flytrap for him, V for Venus, V, his nickname. The only loose end was Namjoon hyung, who lent him those parchments to write and saw him charming the paper swan and sending it to you. Yes, Namjoon had been helping Tae.

"You walked out on Professor Mclagen!" Sana screamed as soon as she entered the room, "Are you okay!?"

"I am, I just, uh... Saw the same venus flytraps on some chits inside Jungkook's book. And I panicked and ran away" you explained.

"Aww it's okay" She said rubbing your back.

"What happened?"Jennie came in and asked "You ran away from Mclagen?"

You face palmed and Sana explained Jennie.

"I know what could cheer you up! Let's go for a walk" Jennie suggested, you checked there's still time for dinner, so you walked out, only to meet Ryujin who dropped her books and was also tagging along.

The four of you sat there discussing what happened in your potions class. "I don't understand, what's wrong with Jungkook sending you letters?" Jennie asked still confused

"He's gay Jen. He's dating Park Jimin" you said

"May be he's bi?" Ryujin pointed out

"Could be, but he's still dating and that would be wrong. Besides the sender knows a lot about me, and Jungkook and I have rarely spoken. He doesn't even look interested apart from the class." You said.

"You know what? Ask him" Sana suddenly said

"What! Are you crazy?!" You exclaimed

"Hear me out" She said and kept continuing "Ask subtly, like, just complement him saying you saw those in his books and watch his reaction" she shrugged

"That's actually a good idea" you said nodding.

While you were going to the big hall, you met Taehyung on the way, who asked you to meet in the courtyard the next day after lunch, for another study session.

"What's with you and Kim Taehyung?" Ryujin asked as soon as you came to sit at your spot they saved.

"We just study together" you said shrugging.

And you three started talking about the next hot thung available.

The study sessions with Taehyung was actually fun, you got to know that he is actually good in charms and helped you with your assignments. You've got to know that he plays the saxophone quite well and his best friend is Jimin. He also got to know alot about you and he seemed to be genuinely interested. You and him now studied often and it's been over 2 months now that you're receiving a note everyday.

The notes kept on coming and they all were really cute. But the Venus Flytrap gets you every time, and you get more and more worried untill you finally asked Jungkook oneday.

"Those flowers you draw are really nice. Venus Flytraps right?" You asked looking into him searching for any sign of discomfort or anything.

"Oh, I draw these for a friend, he gets them made at the end of his assignments or something" he said with a smile.

No, he isn't Venus. If not him then. Who? You wondered.

"I'm telling you it's Kim Namjoon, he uses the same parchment" Ryujin said.

"And I told you it's not possible. We've never even spoken, I'll be surprised if he even knew my name" You said.

"I kinda agree" Sana said.

"Guys! We found it" you heard Bambam and Mina whisper yelled as they pushed the book towards you, pointing at a certain place of the openned page.

"Apare Vestigium? No its not for objects. You morons, read!" Jihyo chided at them.

"Here, I think I found it!" Ryunjin exclaimed"This spell can turn any object into a tracking device" she turned the book to you.

"Avenseguim. Let's try it" you three swiftly slipped out of the library and to try it out.

"Tae! V! V! Tae!" Namjoon almost burst through the Hufflepuff house's main door.

"What?!" Tae stood up in alarm. And what Namjoon said next left Taehyung in shock and scared.

"Y/n and her whole gang are looking for you" he said

"What?! What do you mean?" He asked

"I was in the library when I heard them talking about a tracking spell that can turn an object into a tracking device for the owner!" He said and as soon as the words left his mouth, Taehyung froze.

"What do I do?! Hyung! What do I do?!" Taehyung was in shock.

"Tell her! Tell her before the note does" Namjoon said "I have a plan"

You and your friends had tested the spell on a bunch of things that seem to return to its owner quite well so you ultimately tried it on one of the notes. And were now following the piece of paper that was flying around the school.

Suddenly, it stopped at a place, you and the rest got confused.

"What's wrong?" Bambam asked.

"Y/n!" You heard a familiar voice and turned around.

"Please walk with me Y/n" he said looking serious

"Tae, I'm in middle of something" you said.

"I know and this is important" he said. Your friends are still confused as to what's going on but you followed him away from all the chaos.

You watch him ponder over his words and fidgeting.

"Taehyung, it's okay, What is it?" You asked trying to calm him down "Do you need help with something?"

"I like you!" He said, stepping close to you, he then looked at the corner and signalled someone who when you looked closely, you saw Namjoon pointing his wand towards your flying note. As soon as he released his hand, the note came back to life and rushed towards you or more like at Tae and in time he caught it and said "I was sending the notes to you"

You were shocked, kinda glad because you liked spending time with his too and had a little crush but you never expected him to actually like you.

Non-idol! Hoseok x Reader: Saddle

A/n: I hold this one close to my heart for a few reasons. I'm sad that I am not as bold as I wrote this OC and may be I will never be in this situation. But I hope you like it.

Summary: Being a stable boy Hoseok knows "his limits". But, Y/n doesn't believe in such stuff, if she likes someone she'll act on it. How long can Hoseok ignore Y/n?

"Hoseok! Hoseok!" You called out.

"Yes, ma'am?" he stepped out of the stable.

"Get my horse and yours" you said with a smile.

"It's night time ma'am" he said, hesitating

"And? We are going for a ride, the moon is so beautiful today. Let's go" you said.

"Okay ma'am" he said and went inside and brought out your brown horse and his black one. He helped you to mount it after putting on a saddle.

"Follow me" you said and rode away with Hoseok following you looking around to make sure there are no possible threats on the way. The night was indeed beautiful and you slowed down your horse to match pace and steps with Hoseok's.

"It's a beautiful night, it's more beautiful to spend it with you" you said, but Hoseok just looked afa, not even looking at you.

It's been like this for the past year since Hoseok started working at your stables. You took an instant liking towards him. Two months of warming up and you started dropping hints, but he never caught on to them. So you decided to be a bit more upfront. You're parents hardly stayed home anyway. Your father being a Duke and a close advisor of the king was always away and your mother was busy in meetings and parties with other noble ladies. You were left alone with the maids and your little brother Jimin. So nobody really stopped you, when you starred at Hoseok without any intention to look elsewhere even after he caught you starring multiple times, neither did anybody witness the way your hand would linger a bit longer when he helped you mount or unmount your horse. Or all those times when you leaned in close to his face to speak to him, so close that Hoseok could feel for breath fanning over his lips, his breath intertwining with yours. Well, nobody but Hoseok, who seemed to freeze initially, but never reacted to your advances, what you never knew was that it took every once of his self control to not react to how you drove him crazy.

You had once asked him "Hoseok, are you married?"

"No ma'am" he answered

"Spoken for?" You asked to dig more.

"No ma'am" he answered yet again.

"Can you not call me Ma'am?"

"Should I call you My Lady then? Ma'am?"

"No, just stick to ma'am" you deadpanned and walked away. What you didn't notice was the way he looked away and smiled to himself, finding your annoyance very cute.

You always found it strange as to why a young man didn't even bat his eye leads at the level of flirting that you did with him. Did he really not like you? You thought at times and cried to yourself about it. All your life, you've only wanted to be loved, growing up friendless and ignored by parents untill they wanted you to meet some nobility only made you crave for love more and more. So when you met Hoseok and the way he was with you from the start, so soft and wordlessly going possible extra miles for you, even the ones that he could have easily evaded. Yes, because he wasn't obliged to bring you a croissant or donut of your favourite flavour just because you told him you were craving it. Or take you to rides are such odds hours like he was taking you now. Even though he never responded to your advances you felt like this was his way of portraying that he cared.

Small incidents like when he's brushing the horses and your simply standing at the balcony and he looks up and your eyes connect and he'd return your smile with a little smile from him. Or the random moments when your eyes met and he'd just quirked his eyebrows to which you winked before he'd break into a smile.

"No" you said firmly standing your ground.

"Y/n dear, we are not asking you!" Your mother said sternly.

"But, I said No!" You repeated.

"You will meet the Earl tomorrow and you will marry him when we decide that for you. As long as you are under this roof you will do as we say" your father said and left.

You broke into tears crying, you didn't know what to do, you can't just meet someone and marry them, you wanted to marry someone you liked.

"What's wrong ma'am?" You suddenly heard the voice that you could identify with your eyes closed.

"Do you really not know?" You asked.

"We'll the maids were gossiping" he said shrugging.

"I don't want to do this. I can't" you said wipping your eyes.

"But why?" He asked

"Because when I marry I want it to be out of love and I don't even know this Earl, I can't just marry him!" You said "Beside you know that I only-"

"Why don't you meet him" Hoseok said, not letting you complete "maam"

"What?"

"Ma'am, this what you feel for me is just a phase and may be the Earl is what you needed to-"

"Yeah, you're right" this was your turn to cut him off. You simply got up and left to your room to cry your heart out. So, this is what he felt? Nothing?! You couldn't help it that night, you hugged your pillow tight and cried, let all your pain out. All this time you thought he felt something, and you were wrong. You could feel the ache in your heart and there was nothing you could do about it but ti cry it out.

Hoseok thought he did great that this is what was supposed to happen. Because, you were like a forbidden dream to him one he couldn't even think of dreaming. He tried his best to hold his composer with your not-so-subtle flirting, he tried to smile your glances off. He'd always avoid eye contact if you ever corner him to talk to him, or tell him something. But, these were all an act on the exterior and he could barely keep that up.

He however, took pleasure in running your errands, bringing you your favourite cake or donut, or chocolate from the town, taking you to rides. But that was all to it. And this was his chance to give you the chance you needed, to get a better life. No matter how much he loved you, he had to let you go for your sake. So he did it, he requested you to meet the Earl your parents wanted you to marry. An Earl, someone you beling with, not with someone like him, you couldn't, he couldn't.

"It's a pleasure to meet you Earl" you said, in the perfect manner as you were always trained since you were a child.

"The pleasure is all mine" he said as he kissed the back of your hand in a courtesy manner. As you gave him a very practiced shy smile.

As you were greeting each other, Hoseok could see from afar, how out of the place you seemed to be and how fake each and every smile was. Did his heart just swell a little to think that you always smiled open and wide around him?

That was when Hoseok was summoned and told that he was to accompany you and the Earl to a trip to the town. Hoseok brought out your, his and the Earl's horse, when your mother spoke out "Why would you bring three horses? Y/n can just travel with the Earl that would be easier, if he has no problem. Do you Taehyung?"

"No, not at all" he smiled. Hoseok went to the horse to help you mount it but the Earl or Taehyung beat him to it and helped you climb up his white horse, poetic right?

As the horses went at a slow pace and Hoseok followed Taehyung's horse, he watched as you pointed at various places and told him stuff that he of course could not hear. He also noticed how Taehyung whishpered something into your ear and you gave him a shy smile, well a fake shy smile, but that made his heart ache.

You three reached the market and took a halt and the bakery and Taehyung once again, helped you down the horse instead of Hoseok. What Hoseok found really odd that you didn't glance at him. Not even once, not even for a fraction of second did you spare a glance towards Hoseok. 'Its for the better' he told himself, but he knew he was falling apart on the inside. He knew watching you with someone else would hurt, but he never knew it would hurt this much.

The two of you took a seat as Taehyung called out "Stable boy, get us two croissants" he said

"Hoseok" you said in a low voice, "He is called Hoseok"

"I'm so sorry Hoseok, please don't mind" Taehyung said correcting himself

"No, sir, It is fine" he said "Two croissants? But-"

"Two croissants, Hoseok" you said sternly, still not looking at him. And he did as he was told.

He followed you around the rest of the day as the Earl and you walked around the market, and around the estate.

Later, the evening Hoseok heard the maids talk about how Taehyung had asked your father the permission to court you. 'Of course he did, he'd be a bloody fool if he didn't', Hoseok thought.

He found you sitting on the swing at night, alone, he was about to walk past you, but that's when he noticed your tesr stained face and red shit eyes, you were crying. In an instant all resolves he made were blown away and he rushed to you.

"Ma'am?" He called out, you almost flinch and the suddenly call, but you never answered. But he knew you were listening to him.

"Ma'am, why are you crying?" He asked, earning an instant glare from you.

"You're the last person who should ask that don't you think? You must be happy that I met the Earl and now he will court me! My parents want me to marry the Earl! So, Thank you Hoseok!” with each word you stepped closer to him only to turn and walk away in the end. But, Hoseok held your wrist to stop you. You didn't know he could ever do that tbh, even he didn't.

"Why dif you have rhe croissant when you hate it?" He asked

"That's what I have been taught my whole life, to take whatever is offered by a prospective suitor" you said.

"I didn't like it" he said.

"Yeah it waz horrible" you said, looking away from him.

"I hated to see you with someone else" he took a pause before he said "Y/n"

Your eyes went wide in surprise as you looked at him.

"But, what can I do?" He asked, you noticed his eyes were glossy.

"Take me away" you said.

"I could, but I am just a stabble boy, no tittle and -" he went on but was interrupted by you.

"Whatever you are Hoseok, you are enough" you said, using your free habd to cup his cheek, as he leaned in to your touch, while he intertwined your fingers.

"Also I have a plan, more like half of it. But, where would we go?" You asked.

"I know someone who could help us, in the capital" Hoseok said "but what plan do you have?"

"You wont have to worry about that, Just be ready tomorrow, we leave as soon as mom does" you said and he nodded.

The whole night Hoseok could not sleep, was he doing something wrong? But, this would mean your happiness, can that really be wrong? Well, love isn't a crime, so this is going to work out.

"When you spoke about help in the capital I didn't think it would be in the palace" you whispered.

"Yeah and when you said you have a plan I didn't think you'd actually sell the new mares of the stable in double price" Hoseok whispered.

"I'm a good seller?" You said as you bowed st the passing lady.

"This way" he said as he knocked at a door and a voice was heard asking them to get in.

As soon as they entered Hoseok was heard to say "Jwaaaan" and the other man rushed to hug Hoseok calling him "Hobah"

Meanwhile, Y/n just stood there, too stunned to speak. This was nobody other than the Crowned Prince of Bangtania.

"Y/n, meet Kim Seokjin, we grew up together actually, my mother was the queen's handmaiden before my parents passed" he said.

"Your highness" you said bowing.

"Please don't bow, I'm not that high, and call me Jin, Jinnie, or Oppa" he said kissing the back of your hand

"Ahm" Hoseok cleared his throat.

"Sorry! Bad habit" Jin said laughing out, rather he was making windscreen wiper noises.

"Wait how is any of this useful?" You asked still confused

"I will give you immunity again the Duke of Seom, your dad and-" Prince Jin was interrupted by a knock and he shouted a "Who are you?"

"It's me" was heard the voice sounded vaguely familiar to you.

"Ah, come in" Jin said and the man that walked in almost froze your blood.

"E-e- earl?" You stuttered

"C'mon Lady Y/n I know you weren't interested but you couldn't even remember my name?" He said

You just looked at him still too stunned to speak, but what happened next shocked your whole mind out if you, the Earl walked up to the prince kissed his cheek and asked "You called for me babe?" And Jin simply slid his arm around Earl's waist and nodded.

Not just you even Hoseok was shocked at this exchange.

"But-but-you" you pointed at Taehyung looking like a lost puppy.

"It was all just for show. I knew you didn't like me a bit and I thought you'd reject me. I was actually thrown aback when your father said that you daid yes. Actually, I dont swing that way, I have always rejected every woman but when I saw you, rather I saw your disinterest in me I planned to ask for your hand and get rejected so I can act a bit heart broken and get my family off my back for sometime" he said giving a boxy smile.

"Wow, you're smart" you said "I wasn't even asked before my father said yes to you"

"Figured" He said.

Hence, the four of you planned that Taehyung will help you hide for 4 days. Why 4? Because Jin was get coronated in 4 days, he said he would personally conduct his bestfriend's marriage as only the king or a Priest can bind someone in hole matrimony. Additionally, even after alot of declination, Jin declared that he would dubb Hoseok and You Baron and Baroness of Armivile, the town area in the east of the kingdom, that would be his gift to the two of you.

And thus, with secrecy Earl Taehyung lead the two of you to hus carriage after hiding your horses in the royal stables. You could see Hoseok was visibly worried "Hobi?" You called

"What did you call me?" He said, lios pressed in a heart shapped smile

"Hobi?" You repeated "Do you like it?"

"I love it, my mother used to call ne that" he said. You intertwined your fingers and leaned your head on his shoulder and said "Its gonna be okay"

And just like that, the 4 days passed. On the 2nd day Taehyung had brought news that her father was searching the whole estate for you and Hoseok. Strangely the plan worked and nobody suspected you to be at the Earl's house.

On the day of the coronation, Jin or King Seokjin, bound you and Hoseok into holy matrimony, well, he did have to escort your father and mother out with guards, but your brother was very happy for you. Your father had disowned you infront of the whole kingdom, but your brother promised that you would never loose each other.

"So? Baroness?" Hoseok said, his hair in a mess for just waking up, eyes still droopey from sleep. You shifted in you sheets and placed an open mouthed kiss on his beautiful lips. He grabbed your waist to get you on top of him when you winced and he asked in worry "Are you hurt? Was I too rough? Did I-" you shut him up with a kiss.

"I like it just the way it is. Okay. Now shut up and cuddle I dont wanna wake up just yet" you said and Hoseok gladly complied and hugged you from the back drawing circular patterns on your bare back, lulling you to sleep.
