Does anyone else feel weird when someone misgenders your characters?

The eighth graders at my school have lunch after the rest of us, but half go to study hall for 30 minutes, and then the other half go to study hall while the first group goes to lunch. It’s weird and everyone agrees it’s the most disruptive thing ever. Anyway, there’s this English teacher at our school who everyone is 90% does drugs. She doesn’t talk, only screams. You can hear what she’s teaching several classrooms down. Second most disruptive thing ever. So one day, she’s subbing for a math class on the second floor because our school doesn’t hire real subsitutes, and the eighth graders get out of study hall and head to lunch. Now either they were physically fighting, or just being really loud, nobody’s sure, but this teacher storms out of the classroom and into the hall and starts screaming her head off at them. As she does. When she comes back into the classroom, she realizes one of the kids in her class is missing. She asks the rest of the class where he went. The room is dead silent. Then one kid points out the window. It turns out, while she was out in the hall yelling at eighth graders, the class pooled all their spare change together (it came to $1.10 ) to pay the class clown to jump out the window. He wasn’t harmed, and the teacher wasn’t fired-She’s still working there. On the other hand, the school has fired at least one science teacher per year for a veriaty of unclear reasons, one being because the teacher had cancer. So yeah, I don’t know why the crackhead who had a kid jump out a second floor window for $1.10 is still employed.
