I was gonna disagree with you, but then I remembered how he spent a page and a half talking about how beautiful jaquzzi’s eyes were in the light novels, so there really isn’t an argument to be made.

There’s an explanation for this. Suddenly the matter of theme songs were brought up in a skype conversation and all of a sudden I couldn’t stop linking Baccano characters to Disney songs that would be their theme songs. Please don’t take this seriously, it’s for fun and some of them are really crack.

THIS MADE MY DAY
Finishing the Baccano! anime last night made me think of how cosplaying Claire/the Rail Tracer/Felix(/whatever other names he goes by that I’ve forgotten) makes me feel confident, and even… euphoric somehow? He’s such a fun and quirky character. He has an odd, chaotic positive energy–all the acrobatics he does, and the irony that he has the guts to be all “There’s no way I’m gonna die!” when he’s an (above-average) human being surrounded by other characters who are actually immortal. He’s smitten with the woman of his affection in a slightly obsessive and overbearing, yet strangely innocent and genuine way? Throw in some blood, action, and appreciation for trains in the spirit of Baccano! as a whole, and here you have this wildly entertaining character who lends himself perfectly to performing.
This is just a quick dance video from before quarantine started, but I’m hoping that once events start happening again, I’ll be able to bring this cosplay to cons and hopefully do a lipsync routine or two!

I’m not a fan of live action anime movies. That being said...
After watching jojo rabbit over and over I feel like Taika waititi is the only person on the planet who could make a really good baccano movie because I feel like he’d be able to translate Isaac and miria into the real world, and understand the personality of the source material as a whole.
DON’T DO THIS TO ME. DON’T FUCKING DO THIS TO ME. SEEING ANY FAN ART FOR THIS MAN IS A HYPERFIXATION RATATOUILLE MOMENT. I WILL LOOSE MY MIND. I WILL BECOME INSUFFERABLE. WHY IS HE LOOKING DIRECTLY INTO MY EYES LIKE THAT.
