I lost this fic on Ao3 and haven’t been able to find the right combination of tags or key words to narrow things down, I’d appreciate any help I can get

It was a Linked Universe fic centering on Legend in which for some reason all of the other heroes keep ignoring him. At one point, around the second or third chapter he leaves the group entirely and they don’t even notice until like 3 weeks later.

If this fic interests you but you don’t recognize it stop reading now because *SPOILERS*

Legend starts doing the quest on his own and though he eventually meets up with the other heroes again where they promise to do better within a few weeks he realizes he’s getting ignored again. They find out that Legend has a curse on him because (I think) of a shard of dark magic he’d picked up earlier in the story and which he had been progressively gathering from black blooded monsters. They break the curse and profusely apologize and everything turns out alright. Can someone help me find it please?

Agreed! There are plenty of ships that I find to be kinda toxic, but if people want to ship them I literally don’t give a fuck as long as it’s not child x adult or incest. If you don’t like a ship, don’t engage, we say it all the time but that’s because it really is that simple!

Genuinely can't get over how recently in fandoms any characters that have conflict w eachother, big or small, you absolutely cannot ship them because it's x, y, z. Along with the ppl that make up senarios that didn't happen to "prove" or explain why its bad, you can say you hate a ship w/o treating ur hcs like its the truth.

I feel like thisll become worse because of how unbelievably bad media literacy and reading comprehension is. No the ship isn't toxic ur just fucking stupid. how can you say you like/love a peice of media yet misunderstand or ignore whats typically hand fed to you by the creator.

Me as I struggle through every explanation of my fandoms to my friends who I know give zero shits
