What's Your Favourite Thing About Your Craft, Path, Or Journey?
What's Your Favourite Thing About Your Craft, Path, or Journey?
My favourite thing about my path is learning more about myself and why I am here. Finding a purpose is an extremely long goal to follow and it could take up to a lifetime to really know what your purpose truly is. Keeping this in mind, I like to take part in different activities each day whether it be a sport, reading Tarot, creating a ritual, or even just checking off my planner for the simplest things that I can accomplish throughout the day like drinking a full glass of water. Experiencing new things throughout my life is what makes life and living so much fun and it could be so fulfilling! Taking the time to meditate and gather what I have experienced through the day makes me extremely thankful for what I have and what the world has to offer to me. What's your favourite part? Okay that's a bad podcast then... I suggest Morbid Podcast because they know what they are talking about and don't do that kinda thing.
One time I tried to listen to a true crime podcast (I've never denied being an edgelord with a fascination for macabre shit) but I tapped out halfway through the first episode b/c the people on the serial killer podcast started talking about how being a goth is a sign that someone is probably a serial killer

This is going to be a long one, so stick with me here.
So my move in has been a success, need furniture, but I have a place to stay and that's what matters. I'm hoping that this will be a semi permanent solution for me to go back to school and grow in a better setting. The problem now is the negativity following me after finally getting out of the situation I was placed in.
I was previously in an environment with constant negative energy due to a friend going through a hard time because he was recently divorced. Me and my fiancé did our best to be there for him but he would not take our advice, made us out to be the bad guys saying that we weren't real friends, and was expecting us to put him before ourselves which caused a rift in our friendship unfortunately. We've tried to get him to seek help but he claims friends are all he needs but really he was expecting us to be his personal therapists, which isn't fair to me or my fiancé. We had no time to ourselves and whenever we did the friend would get mad that we weren't talking to him or inviting him to places that were meant for only me and my fiancé. I tried to include him in activities with other people and because he wasn't the center of attention he had a meltdown and blamed us for everything. It continued to get worse when he began posting everything to social media expecting to get a rise out of me or my fiancé even posting pictures of self harm (which I then reported).Long story short, right after we moved out due to the stress that he was putting on us, our friend then became more aggressive the more we refused to say anything about the posts and claimed that we were ignoring him and that he was going to take us to small claims court over rent money but we never signed anything for an official lease. Lastly, he stated that he was going to commit suicide due to us... THIS IS NOT OKAY.
I'm saying all this to present awareness that there are people out there that you simply cannot continuously entertain because it is detrimental to you as a person. Having someone else's crushing depression and self-injury guilt put on your shoulders every day is not okay. If you, your friend or family member are showing obvious signs of depression and increasingly negative thoughts, please call for welfare checks and refer them to the Suicide Prevention Lifeline 800-273-8255 if possible.
Showing Daily Gratitude
A short guide to showing daily gratitude in your practice:
🌞 Waking: write down your dreams and thank your spirit animals for guiding you to see possible insight. If there were no dreams, thank any higher powers that allow you the rest and the energy that it had given you to start the day.
👗 Getting ready for the day: wear colors that reflect a color correspondence or your favorite color, thank the higher powers for the clothes and accessories that you have and the confidence it brings you every day.
🫧At work, school, or home: appreciate the friends, coworkers, and family that help you when you are down or are there to chat. Showing gratitude towards others is rewarding and showsyou care.
🥝 Mealtimes: thank your ancestors, spirits, or deities for the food that allows you to keep moving each day. For those who love to give back, allow a small portion of your meal as a gift to these gods/goddesses or spirits to share.
🧼 Self Care: appreciate your appearance and the features you were blessed with. Self gratitude is the best gratitude to give yourself to begin truly loving yourself.
🌙 Bedtime: cherish this time right before completely falling asleep, allow yourself to meditate and show gratitude for the day that you had and feel blessed to wake up for another day to cherish.

Blossom into something beautiful so that by the end of the year you may harvest what has been learned.
