Ravens Valley, from a Storyteller.

I’m not here to teach (or educate) anything to anyone but only as a reminder about the benefits of nature which, has its own limits. Wilderness cleans our air, filters our water and provides home for human as well as for wildlife. So it is crucial for humanity, which is already to blame, to bring radical changes today before it’s entire extinction tomorrow. That is my only intention here folks. Ripped off feather from a Mourning Dove was found on the snow after some arguing over safflower seeds. I've seen many feathers in my life but never like this one.

Hares/Jackrabbits

A drove of Jackrabbits have been snooping/playing around the house last night. This is some of their foot tracks which are going back deep into the woods.

Hope to see them again so I can have the chance to get some pictures of these Jackrabbits.

I'm a Native Canadian First Nation Mohawk, and what I like the most is mountain excursions, feathers, photography and hard rock music.

And yes, it's always my own photography and real life events posted here. If you like what you see or read, please take a break; have a look.

Traditional old fashion snowshoes are still great for hard-packed mountain trails. But in soft snow, particularly when pulling toboggan, these are the best you can find for wilderness travel away from packed trails.
