I love Regis and Geralt as characters cuz they defy society’s expectations of who they’re “supposed to be”.
You’ve got the emotionless, neutral Witcher.
Then there’s the blood-sucking vampire.
The catch: They’re soft, old nerds who are total philosophy whores and the vampire doesn’t drink blood. And the witcher’s a dilf.

I hate the final act of Blood & Wine, in the fact that I simply can’t justify letting Detlaff walk.
Like, my dude, I’m sorry your girlfriend’s a psycho but you unleashing your Lesser Vamps on a city full of innocents in what I can best describe as a temper tantrum, really doesn’t help your case.

Regis is a good vampire with common sense and condemns Detlaff’s actions cuz even he realizes that he’s gone too far.
He owed Dettlaff his life, fine, but if Dettlaff survives, Regis leaves Toussaint to play babysitter, where he’ll no doubt get himself killed should Tall, Dark and Brooding fly off the handle due to someone spilling on his amazing black coat.
No, Dettlaff must die. I’d rather Regis be exiled to Nilfgaard, cuz at least then he only has himself to protect.
