This One Might Not Make A Lot Of Sense Out Of Context, But I Can Tell You That We Have A Lot Of Fun On

This one might not make a lot of sense out of context, but I can tell you that we have a lot of fun on the Redwall re-read discord. :D

There was a joke going around about what Salamandastron would look like if it had giant Hollywood-sign-style letters on it, and in typical chaotic discord fashion it…devolved? Evolved? Take your pick.

Also, when we were reading Martin the Warrior, a fellow member made a comment about how Skalrag was just trying to have a “hot girl summer” and didn’t get it, which has led to a lot of hot girl summer cruise jokes and why the last panel was necessary.

P.S. these are technically the first drawings I ever did of Marina!

A drawing commission of myself done by @raphcrow!

Isn’t it just wonderful! I’m SO happy with it.

I discovered raphcrow from their work on the Redwall playing cards from many seasons ago, and was absolutely enamored by their work. I reached out to them for a commission, and lucky me, they were happy to work with me!

Some of my favorite parts include that amazing depiction of my necklace! If you don’t know, I cross-stitched and strung a necklace of the center of the great tapestry: Martin the Warrior holding his sword. The hair is also amazing (I’ve cut it since then, so this style is out of date, but it’s one of my favorite styles that I’ve ever had), as well as the glasses perched on my nose, my eyebrows, my blue eyes, my bum lip, the sleeves on the habit, and for some reason I really like the nails. All around incredible.
